Been a long time since I played with this stuff so I forgot how to do this.

I am using /afollow on my bots to have them follow me. But when I get into a fight, they don't always attack because they are still following me closely. One of them jumps around like he is desperate to fight but isn't allowed because he is follow me. So I turn follow off and they fight. Then I have to turn it back on to move to the next mob and turn it back off again. And repeat.

Is there a setting or something that will let them fight while staying on /afollow?

you should consider using the chase that kiss has built in instead of afollow

Ahhh I will try that thanks! I liked afollow because they match my steps and avoid obstacles and things. But chase is probably fine for most places.

I must admit I never got on with the KA chase mode and just paused my team and used afollow, but I'm going to check out that Lua

Word of warning for Lua chase... it goes nuts in certain zones. Shadow Valley for example has a lot of elevation stuff going on. Died some 10+ times last night because 1 or more toons decided they needed to path to the other side of the map to move ten feet over.

I ended up using a group pause hotbutton and afoll to move around (named and rare see through double invisible means most any toon wandering around is not just dead, but bring the group friends it didn't want).

That is the exception, not the norm. The chase feature works for the situation you are describing with out needing to turn it on/off in most zones.

Anywhere that has a drop off it will path across the map to move your guys. Happens in a bunch of 115 + zones, just have to know the zones and dont jump off a ledge with your driver.

If you know how to code, what I do is to set an afollow threshold. If the person they are following goes beyond a set distance, then it does an /afollow on the target till it gets there and then stops and goes back into standby mode for combat. That way, anytime you stop, they are ready to engage.

That sounds sweet
