Thanks! This kind of info is really useful to me. I barely know the game at all from 70+ so this is all new and a lot of the sites that have info about the game I find to be very convoluted.

I mean, you can put "Security" down for every single class for every single option that its available. The heroic stats and mana make differentiating between Security and another option completely irrelevant.

For the jewelry its another case, I guess. Mage's get the summoner's earring, but other than that its pretty even for the most part. Tanks will obviously want the Guardian's mask... other classes will want something else (unless they don't care about the extra hate).

on war i run 2x security rings, and a athletic and a savvy earring. for shd one security ring and a savvy ring, can use same for pal aswell. for priest classes a savvy and a fleet ring. pure casters i run ingenious and a quick ring. all melee dps i run athletic and quick rings. ear bst mag and nec use summoner's and ingenious ear's. Ive geared 20 toons in the past 2 weeks in head to toe conflagrant armor so any questions I can answer.

Belts are gonna be big difference athletic for melee dps ingenious for caster dps

also on the ingenious belts affect dots also, so real good for necros. it adds the 3000/amount of ticks post crit. so less ticks=greater effect. so if the dot has 10 ticks it would add 300 per tick of the dot post crit, and still helps with lifetaps and nukes also.

Not to try and derail, but if you do a search on either eqitems or raidloot, can accomplish what you wanted, without spending time to create a spreadsheet.

Need to search more than 1 stat you want? Then you have to use eqitems. For example, I'm looking for the the neck slot with the best spell dmg + AC and thats not prestige:

For most people, raidloot should be enough, power search users can use eqitems for the minutia.


EDIT: Another thing I do once I figure out the best item for my main toon (s) class, I add it to google spreadsheet based on expansion. So I have a spreadsheet for EoK tier 1 and EoK tier 2 for all 22 slots on the column side, then the name of my toon on the row side. I'll wait for an item to drop while playing, search it on raidloot on how it stands up determined by the stats I'm searching, and just fill it into the spreadsheet if I'm going to keep the item. This way if I have a duplicate of the class, then I always can go back and save myself from searching again.

Also, saves time on logging in toons in and out to see if you've already acquired the item before.

• Priest belt - Savvy = Bonus 300 hp group heal procs
• Priest ears - Savvy/Vital = Healer stats/Wis + both effects
• Priest range - Vital, although it isn't a big difference on these

• Non-pet caster ears - Quick/Ingenious = best spell dmg/Int/Soothing Breath + +hInt/Geomantra
• Caster range - Brilliance

• Melee ears - Athletic/Quick
• Melee range - Adroitness

Bards as melee works. They only get mana regen from gear/aa so that may be worth checking.

Necro/Sham used to mainly care about +hSta and HP, not sure if that is still the case.

Yah Eqresource is shit for item search, because they have items in the last 2-3 expansions marked as all non-prestige, so its impossible to tell if its Prestige vs. Non-Prestige, stick with raidloot, allah's or, eqitems.

Except they are "unique equip". So no dual security rings on tanks. Learnt this by wasting a DIM.

I throw w/ my rogue anyway daggers and summoned stuff when pulling


NM i see now the over lay pop up is showing +50 for charisma and not aligned properly, +hdex is 20ish so choice is either or.

Quick belts are not listed - I'm told for rogue (and almost all dps) Boon of the Seeress is the best focus hands down - Rogues get a bonus in many ways to make this proc.


I'm also looking at fingers - assuming you don't need the 1 time perm click - isn't securty x2 best for all classes? Specifcally rogue here, I dont see any reason to give up the ac/hps of security except to get a click that you only have to use once ever.

like other have mentioned you have to watch out for focus items on some pieces, but sorting by AC you can see all your options
