Just wondering now that there's free heroics what the best botting 6box is.

I am going to go on a limb and guess it's something like Bard/sham/(Not sure which tank)/3 mages?
 
I've got a war, cleric, bard. I trade in what I want from there. So far for me zerks have been the best dps. For awhile I was zerk, BST, wiz/mage. Just switched to zerk,zerk, shaman/BST. Leveling the shaman up.

lets see, SK, Cleric, Bard or Chanter, Wiz, Wiz, Beast..... done
 
Raz, I'm curious why the wiz over zerk? My wiz burns and is OOM while my zerk is doing 450k burns and 100k non burns constant. Wizzard has to med a lot? With bard and BST in group. Zerk has been non stop.


How does your group fair with mana with non stop pulls??

Thanks for the suggestions, I went SK, Cleric, Bard, bst, zerk, and a rogue just for kicks and giggles

One more question, Do anyone other than the tank and healer NEED gold to get to 105?
 
Need gold no. Most people get them to 105, gold their account for AA and then let it lapse from what I have gathered.

Hope you like your rog. Their DPS leaves a lot to desire. After I started lvling up my rog and I tried a few burns and group content with the best gear / weapons I could get at 100 I dropped her.

Nobody cares for rangers but my ranger can do more dps than wizzie and zerkers (in long fights)...i put him on bard place, so more dps for grp with a puller...full t2 gear tank and autocleric dont really need CCs
 
Thank you for starting this thread, why a bard over a chanter? I have a chanter that is max level and AA and was considering starting a bard on the same account as an option.

Rule of thumb is bard is better for melee heavy groups, enc for caster heavy, but everybody has their preference. Enchanters have best mezzing ability but bards give you some more utility. Some people use both.
 
What do ench have that are better for casters? Arent bards better mana regen and have songs that increase spell damage? I was trying to figure this out myself which to use

Chanters have that and more..they have better slow, double aura (for more dmg and twincast/ or more mana regen) they have haze for crazy shit nukes, they have proc haze, they have proc gom, they have mana regen nukes, they have runes, pet and other things i dont remember...
 
Chanter tash increases incoming spell dmg. Also lowers resist so that said spells can land. Just one thing that comes to mind. Chanter does hold the best MEZ abilities. I have both and prefer bard personally. My tank can handle the extra mobs while bard is locking them down and so far my bard DPS is better than my enchanter. I could have his KA messed up but even manually I didn't get great DPS. Also I prefer bard for the endurance regen abilities.

oh btw..noob is working on autochanter as the winner for his pool...so keep an eye for great bot incoming

With this free Heroic thing I am making a second 6 box that maybe I will raid with later. My primay 6box is Sk/Cle/Enc/Mag/Wiz/Bst. When you talk about ranger dps being good is that bows or melee? I know zerkers are the flavor of the month right not but I would like a War/Cle/Bard/Ran/Ber/? Maybe a monk or Rog?

Bow dps...imo bow>melee atm....monk and rogue arent doing good dps atm...my main setup is rng/war/cler/bst/wiz/zerk and they burn mobs really fast
 
I was running ENC/PAL/WIZ trio with WIZ/WIZ/CLR merc. It was cool and all but I think I'm going to switch it up to: Enchanter, SK, BST, WIZ, SHM, ROG just for lawls. I get bored of how brainless it is atm. I want to actually "play" a character rather than just pulling with ENC and seeing stuff die.

Honestly, I've even thought of: NEC, NEC, BST, MAG, ENC, DRU...I have a weird thing about playing a BST while letting the other 5 just do whatever with KA. I'd like to eventually get into a raid guild but for the time being I play zombie classes so I'd like to "main" one.
 
i seem to recall that sony/db said the melee weapons would always be more powerful then bow damage .. except for headshot but then thats not linked directly to bow .
