I'll try to get you the exact name of the stacking issue later on today, but I can tell you it has to do with the spell buff twinheal and an AA ability the cleric tries to fire off. I usually notice it when I see EQBC spamming EI or something else without it firing because it's constantly trying to use the AA ability to no avail.
 
Spit out a new alpha (not tested in game yet) but will fix all stacking issues.

I need to still fix that occasional spell book issue that a few folks are having. I imagine its an auto-stand type thing, but i'll look at using /book or another way to cancel it.

I could see why that would be a problem, may I ask why you have 2 clerics in the same group? I've never run into an issue with 1 cleric healing and just straight dps.
 
No NH, i have two teams, they group separately. I tried Release and Beta with freshly generated ini files, still cant see any of them casting ANY aura.
 
That's funny because mine keep it up well.

Can you check to make sure you don't have an aura up in the actual aura window (instead of the song window)?
 
I have aura window up all the time, it's a very small window. What could cause the aura not to fire? Btw, both clerics level 105 and they used to have "Aura of Divinity" up all the time right before 2.0 official release.
 
Any general trends for how long an alpha version stays in alpha before being released to the public? Just curious :)

There are some that are literally hours, but I think I've had a couple alphas going for months now lol. Mainly because I haven't had time to play with the new job and I haven't heard anything back on them.
 
Well, for what it's worth, I've been running the 6/6/2016 Beta for the last couple of months and it seems great, with the exception of the previously identified stacking issue that you said was likely fixed in the alpha version.

I can test if you need more people.
 
I've been running the 2.0 version across 5 groups with minimal issues.

I still have issues in TBM zones with aura penalty like crypt of sul along with "Aura of Divinity" level 100 cleric aura. Also, clerics can have TWO running Aura, can this be used as a new feature?

Gonna test again today with clean installation (Again) to confirm all of the above.
 
Sorry been MIA guys, I had a SAN fail that had about 30 of our VMs in our Hypervisor on it and only had backups of DBs, Data, and System States. Worked around 200 hours in 2 weeks lol... Finally got the business backup and in a good state. After I sleep for the next 48 hours I might load up EQ and work on the macro a bit. Had to let some folks go, but it finally looks like it is stabilizing a bit. Only been at this new job for 2 months and I think I have aged about 10 years, FML. Missing my old job where I just sat around and played EQ all day lol.

... In an enterprise Production Environment 1TB isn't shit.
He'd need like an AWS S3 / Glacier backup for all that stuff and it would take days to restore lmao.

Not to bash this company, I am still employed here, but they had made some really really bad business decisions over the course of 10 years.
  • MPLS Network on Earthlink (Like WTF!?!) Earthlink was a dial up company from the 90s and is now just a reseller, this means its impossible to get a change order done or any kind of change. A site goes down and not only will they miss the 4 hour SLA but they will miss it by DAYS...
  • All the hardware is between 7 and 12 years old. I shit you not, they pay for a rack space at a data center and to top this all off... this hardware was refurbished to start off with.
  • The Server pre-crash hadn't had updates run between 3-6 years. Yup, thats windows update... it just was disabled and no one ever bothered to go back and patch ANYTHING after standing up a server.
  • The company paid independant programs to develop software to interface with an archaic ERP Software about 5 years ago. These developers have moved on in their careers and now all do something different. So after installing the new environment, I have to figure out how to make these custom programs working again. (One was written in Silverlight)
As far as what I have done...
  • 2nd week (Sunsetted the Exchange Server pushed an O365 migration, mainly because the exchange server only had 10 GB of free space and was growing between 1-2 GB a day).
  • 6th week (SAN died... lost the farm and the backups only had company data. Apparently the folks before me thought why bother doing image backups, replication, or export any VHDs)
  • 3 days Post Crash - I had all the business critical applications back up, a new citrix farm built
  • 10 days Post Crash - I had all applications functional and 30 servers built out (including all updates for OS and applications ran)

I literally could sit here for hours writing about all the WTF moments I've had since starting roughly 60 days ago. That all said, I am better for all this and if I can make this turd float, I can do just about anything. LOL.

Sounds like they hit the jackpot when you joined them, truly scary what is out there under the covers, working in the finance industry there are usually a couple of legacy systems that "no one touches" as they don't fully understand the implications, but what you are describing sounds like total incompetence has been the order of the day for a good few years!

Good luck with it all and I guess it can only get better now!!

In 1998-1999 I built a Novel Netware 4 server for a company that does financial stuff, they used it until about 4 months ago! They went through like 7 servers but thanks to mirroring and my own special internal network backup plan they never lost data....

It was made for 105... LOL. I haven't been playing much lately so if you run into a problem let me know, but macros are timeless for the most part unless eqmule added some badass new feature that breaks shit again ;)

Just read the last couple months of MQ2 patch notes, and nothing should of changed. I see eqmule did add some cool new features to Spawn TLO, i'll look at incorporating some of the new hate aggro features that were added for smarter aggro detection.
 
I just swapped over to this from Kiss and it works extremely well. Just one less character I have to keep up with an ini and shits for. Thanks for all the hard work Noobhaxor!

This macro still works very, very well. Until I have to be concerned about lots of moving/shifting due to TBM group mission progression and/or raids, I will stick with this. I'm also hoping someone posts a KA9 cleric ini for a lvl 105, max AA'd cleric. I'd love to compare, but until that happens I'm sticking with autocleric.

I'm also waiting for the alpha version with the fixes for certain aa/spell conflicts to go live ;-) ... THEN this would REALLY be awesome!
 
That reminds me. My AC clr is spamming his AA rez and getting the Ability has failed, timer has been reset msg. I had to pause the mac and manually rez my peeps yesterday. It's been awhile since I have seen anyone rez'd now that I think of it. I often turn around and see peeps at the bind point wondering wth just happened... might be related.

I wouldn't say the AA rez had its name changed since it IS trying to fire, but maybe a timer somewhere needs adjusting.
 
I'm having a sort of strange problem in CoSul atm. Whenever the cleric passes by the skull, he clicks it running autocleric, and zones out. :p No other macros are causing this, and I can't really figure it out.
 
That is most likely afol. I've had it happen before.

The only time I've had problems rezzing, is when the target is offline / linkdead / zoning. No issues with the AA or going from spell to aa after buying aa here.
 
Great macro man thank you, having the spellbook issue, from what i have seen it happens when someone in the group has died, he tried to mem the res spell and cast the blessing of res aa, and doesnt exit the spell book. i wouldnt have run into it but i was leveling a friends heroic toon and they died a couple times, definitely repeated.
 
Bugreport for you Noob: If cleric dies while running autocleric in Plane of War it locks at the accept rez / respawn selection screen. I have to close the EQ instance and reload the cleric. The weird part... no xp loss and cleric logs in where he died and leaves a corpse that is bugged to all hell, can't rez it or decay it.

This has to do with MQ2Rez plugin. PoWar was in development and had TONs of bugs for like 10 years before going live. Its code is so jacked that they messed up the Rez window so that it the order was all messed up. I think DBG finally fixed the bug and MQ2Rez hasn't taken out the special code it had in it to get around it. So kudos to you for finding the bug as I think you are the first to report it to anyone ;) I bet if we hollar at the lizard to take a peak at the MQ2Rez code he will take out that custom PoWar code and it will work properly.
