Auto Cleric 1.0

Think whatever you implemented in Crypt of Decay with healing due to the zonewide debuff is causing some major issues - especially once you reduce the debuff (stuck at 90% HP, not 80). Mercs are also immune to it so they will always be at 100 anyhow.

As it stands, a tank merc can barely manage here because the cleric isn't firing off anything till 60 - 70%; then, it's not using Remedy usually because the tank is already so low.

Yeah, I'm not flagged the zone yet. So I can't really test. What do you think I need to do to clear up the issues?

With a real tank it's probably less of an issue... is there a way to check if the tank is a merc and if so change the heal points? I'm guessing you set it so if you are in zone (Crypt of Decay) don't heal unless <80%? Could you disable the limitation for the zone if you're in combat? That way if you're stuck at 80 or 90 OOC it won't spam the group but if you're in combat it will try and heal normally.

Edit: I think disabling if in combat is probably the better of the two options. I'll see if I can think more on it later if I work on more stuff there tonight.

I can do a check that if tank type equals mercenary that heal points would be unaffected.

Awesome! Might work on some other stuff till then lol

Question: Does the check for Crypt of Decay look for the zone ID or is it based on the debuff being present to determine whether or not to adjust the healing?

yeah I was getting wipe after wipe with my team breaking a new camp I wanted to farm, I fired up exact same camp with cleric running autocleric and broke the camp and now am farming the shit outta it! The mac outperforms anything else I have ever used!

Can someone get a me a screenshot of the Crypt of Sul Curse and Crypt of Decay Curse? Also does this effect change "/echo ${Me.MaxHPs}" from other zones? I'd like to just do a formula for calculating the healpoint so its always optimal no matter what is going on with Curses and such.

Can you do an /echo ${Me.MaxHPs} Outside these zones then go inside and see if the numbers are the same?

I'm curious to how it is limiting peoples HPs.

It'll be different for everyone too depending on progression. I've seen 70% of max hp also

Also just an idea, since you've pretty much got cleric perfection here. What about an undead toggle since this xpac is huge with that. Clerics can pump out some serious dps

Echo is the same with / without the debuff.

And I personally haven't seen 70%. Based on official posts there is only 80%, 90%, or no debuff. Maybe if you have 0 done and go there you get 70? Idk. Also, the debuff doesn't occur in the HA instanced version of the zone.

I'll have to tinker with this once I hit up that tier in TDM. I just finished T2 of TDS and am heading into T3. I am so badly undergeared for this stuff, that I have to get pretty creative to beat some missions. Only have a couple 1000-1500 HAM pieces left on me, mostly 2000-2500, and a couple pieces of T2 TDS Armor now. It feels like quite the achievement beating some of this stuff ;) The only issues I really have is DPS, some fights require DPS and that's when I have to do some creative bard thinking ;)

I have quite a few write-ups on best in slot gear even for FTP toons, it is easy to gear em up as you progress! most if not all of the gear drops as you TDS progress!

Let me know if you push the merc tank check in a future beta and I'll try it out in CODecay.

Did most of the tasks there yesterday and it was do-able but I had CC and a backup healer. That zone is annoying as fuck. :P

For gear... you might wanna try running some of the Health HAs. Defense of Health is easy and can spawn a couple different named.

I have a crap ton of currency and gear drops from the Health HAs, but for the life of me, I can't get the armor augs to populate from the gear vendor. You know whats up with that?

Which vendor are you going to? The one in Tranq or Health?

If the Health vendor isn't populating I'm going to speculate and say it's because of progression. However, I know I didn't have much done on my alts until it was visible. There are also several different vendors - some still don't show anything for me. You checked *all* of them?

The gear is sold is Tranq, and the augs are sold in Health. I don't know why the armor merchant is empty in Health and the aug merchant is empty in Tranq. I'm assuming this is a new "feature" for TBM. :P

I definitely don't think buying the armor in Tranq is worth it. The drops are common enough and better.

Also Noob- if you didn't realize, the spell runes that drop in TBM will give you Rk II TDS spells also if your crew doesn't have them yet.

Ahhh no wonder, I bet the augs in Health will populate. I finished all the PoHealth progression already. Didn't think to check that vendor as I though starter gear would be PoTranq and then higher tier would be PoHealth... but that would just be too logical.

There's only 1 Tier even though there are multiple "Tier" zones. /boggle. Most in this expac doesn't make sense.

Sidebar: did /g or /t request for Shining go in at some point? I figured out the major issue why it would mem in gem 5- using MQ2Events to request a buff from the Cleric would load it in gem5 if it wasn't already on the spell bar by default. >.<

I am going to decay now to check so will let you know

looks to be same buff - and he is just autostanding for me in decay - sit stand sit stand

was testing this mac tonight on a raid, i used the version on page #1, and have 4 warriors tanks in my group and 1 rampage tank in ETW slot 2, the mac would healed the groups warriors well, never saw it heal the tank in the ETW tho. Also notice it healing one of the group tank corpse's over and over with remedys and wouldn't heal any other tanks, the tank was alive and had a corpse on the ground.

Is the debuff different between sul and decay? I really been meaning to get over there to see this.

Sul has a similar -but not identical- debuff to Crypt of Decay. I haven't figured out the exact mechanic but it seems to randomly change between a 78% HP/Mana cap to 83% cap. I'm still working on what causes the difference because I've had the same character in and out of the zone multiple times and had about 4 different versions on me but all had the same debuff name. Debuff name isn't identical to Crypt of Decay's though.

I still didn't experience the crazy Cleric healing herself with the debuff on though...

ps. Anyone else annoyed as fuck about how all of the zone names and stuff are so similar? >.< Makes things reaaaaally confusing for stuff like this haha

Thanks for the feedback, I'll look through the code and see what would cause this. Typically it should always find the type either pc or mercenary heal it, however, extended target might throw it off somehow, i'll find it.

Did some more in Sul earlier... seems the zonewide AE hits over and over slowly reducing HP/mana cap by 2% increments starting from 85. The Cleric can handle this until after you get under 78%ish. Then it starts doing the chain sit/stand. Once you're capped at 73 or 75, it won't heal the main tank at all anymore. Pretty much just freezes.

Well that sucks, Does Group Purify soul/Radiant Cure/Anything reset counter? How long did this take btw?

Nothing changes it aside from re-zoning as far as I can tell. Took about 15 minutes before all of my people were maxxed out.

Important note: None of these zone debuffs are active in instanced versions of either zone.

I'm guessing once they "fix" progression reducing the zone debuffs this won't be too bad but who knows how long that will be.

Does the zone ID check apply to instances? If so, disabling it somehow would make the mac a lot better in those zones IMO.

ps. If you want an awesome instance to grind check out "To the brave go the spoils" in Sul. Its jampacked full of mobs and is super linear. Has a chance for named, currency, and rare aug drops.

Well this is really interesting, finally zoned in and did some tests. For me I started at 85%, and slowly wittled down to 75%.

Yeah. Crypt of Sul decreases over time. Crypt of Decay is stable. Instances are much easier b/c they don't have it. You should check some of those out to see how the healing is there b/c of the zone check code.

Friends window pops up too small and all the text is scrunched together, I can't figure out how to resize it.
