Howdy!

I am a returning player on live after some years. been using Macroquest etc way back.. But i am pretty rusty in both playing and loading plugins.

I have a 6 box crew i wanne level up from 110. War, Zerker, Cleric, Wiz, Ranger and Shammy. Been spending alot of time these last few days getting familiar with it all agin, lookin at videos on youtube, reading threads on redguides etc.
But i am torn as to what to use for a semi automated setup.

Used kissassist 5-6 years ago. So i know a little about setting it up. But im deffiently no pro. Would CWTN be a faster way of getting a grp up running without spending tons of time setting up kissassist for all toons?

And are there certain classes you would use or not use CWTN or kissassist for?

What do YOU think?

I use kissassist for everything personally. I used to use rgmercs if I didn't have an ini for KA set up in a pinch but can set one up quickly now so prefer the control it gives me over RGMercs which can be a bit of a black box.

Haven't used CWTN plugins personally but by all accounts they're the bees knees for any class they're available on, if you have the cash to spare, going that way will help you be running straight out of the box at max performance but there is a bit of fun tweaking kissassist and getting things running smoothly too.

You can test copy your toons and try the CWTN plugins for free on the test server if you want to try them out to see the difference it makes.

Hiya Eqclass, welcome back!

I started with KA when I began with a druid and wiz and still use them today, but when I went from playing those two to adding a SK, I went with MQ2eskay. Shortly after I added 3 more (SHM/ENC/MAG) and used the plugins for those as well. The major difference is the straight out of the box plug-n-play. No messing with ini's and reconfiguring based upon updated gear or spells/abilities and no need to have multiple ini's depending on what content you're playing. The simple GUI they have allows you to make modifications on the fly and $20 per year per plugin is a drop in the bucket compared to the time saved and the sheer efficiency of the plugins. They ar a definite game changer IMO and you won't be sorry.

As methodx said, try them on test for free if you like first and I'm confident you will be sold! Once you automate your zerk/clr/shm, you'll never look back as I use all 3 and they do a fantastic job. Especially the SHM with options to change the load out!

CWTN plugins are a no brainer. They take the guess work out of setting up your toons. I know playing is all about personal choices and having fun but have you considered throwing in an enchanter or bard to your mix? I couldn't imagine playing post 100ish without one of the two.

Thanks for the reply guys!

I am buying the CWTN's for cleric, zerk and shm. So tryin those out tonight.

I have been thinking about an enchanter actually. Really could use some CC at times. Crack and utilities also... Might do a heroc ench. Would have to switch out shaman then. Not sure about the tradeoff though.

I started with RGmercs since I didn't understand how to setup KissAssist yet. It was pretty straight forward there. Went to CWTN plugins after which was a game changer. Except for Bard... :banjo:

Never tried RGmercs.

Will there be CWTN plugins for ranger and wiz at some point?
From my understanding there will be CWTN plugins for all classes at some point.

RGMercs is an out of the box solution if you do not want to spend too much time with INI's like with Kiss (although there is some customization you can still do with RGMercs INI)

CWTN plugins don't currently have network support for buff monitoring, so they have to be used on the same computer currently. Other macros use Dannet for that.

MQ2enchanter is my personal favorite. The best one of them all IMO. To watch her do her thing during a grind when you pull 5 plus mobs is fantastic!
