Discussion - 25th Anniversary Raid

Did something recently change with this raid? I've had no issues beating it the last few weeks, but now I can't. Raid size is 24. Only thing that has changed on my toons is that some are better geared than before. I'm confused on what's happening. Been using the same tactic as before. All toons in chase mode. MT is Sic Tank mode. Focus on Sandmen first, then Siren and Pixies. Then finish off the rest. Feels like their damage output has been buffed.

This is also before today's patch when I first started struggling.

When I tried with 18, I was unsuccessful. Adding a 4th team (120's all F2P) contributed just enough to bring in some wins for my raid force.

I do this one with 10, but it can get ugly pretty quick if I don't burn at the right spot. (also all gold and all best in slot toons).

you don't need any lems or Lua's unless you want to get the achieves.

I start by the wall and trees and send one toon in to start it, everyone on chase.

I kill in this order: Sandman> Visionary > Terror > Siren > Pixie >flame > constructs

the biggest thing is watching the purple aura, it starts just north of me and moves around the battlefield but gives you a couple waves first before reaching that area, just make sure you run across to other side once its clear (over towards the start guy kind of) and move when you only have a couple mobs left of a wave.

I usually have to burn around the end of 2nd wave going into 3rd. (this going to depend on your dps, just don't get behind on sandman and Visionary.. if you start getting charm/mezzed its over).

that was pretty much it, I struggled on first couple attempts but once I got the flow down its pretty easy.
