I spent a log time playing with different ideas to get as much DPS from my necro in a fast killing group. I tried straight dots, nuking with arcane staff, etc. I wasn't happy. This is a post-DOT revamp version.

He casts Pyre as long as the mobs is between 45 and 99 health and then Assert for Blood to pop Synergy. The other dots are only cast if the mob is between 80 and 99 health. After that he switches to searing venin and soulgouge. In a run of 478 mobs in TOFS where the mobs died on average in 24 seconds, he did 12.66% of the total damage compared to the rogue's 17.29% and the zerker's 17.68%. No bard in group, so that skewed the numbers, but a necro isn't going to beat a bard hasted melee.

For a necro, you really need to adjust for the group and the length of time an average fight lasts. For example, it's hard to get off a long series of dots. In a longer fight, I'd be casting my top two dots as Crystal Crawler Venom is great, but in a 24 second fight, you basically pop synergy, Klraggek, and one nuke. Thne you move on. But this .Ini should handle slower killing (30 to 50 second) fights very well as more dots will be cast before you switch to nukes.

If it's slow enough, then adjust downward the percentage when nukes start firging and have the necro cast more dots. The bulk of this damage comes from Klraggek. I wanted to make Crystal Venom work, but the mobs were dying too fast. You can also play with when Skeleton Horde goes off, but it wasn't working for me in terms of DPS with the new focused dots.

My necro has synergy maxed and he has the important dot focuses maxed. Right now, Sphere of Blight IS NOT WORKING. I tried putting it in the DPS line up and I tried the AE line up, but I couldn't get the right condition after trying a variety of ideas.

What I want is for it to fire if there are at least two mobs on the x-target window, but not if there are five or more. My tank can handle four blues easy, so I'm not worried about mezzing in that case. Could not get that working.

I'm very happy with this .Ini in my particular group where we are plowing through mobs. I have another all dot line up for a slower kill group. On that one, I broke one million DPS on named mobs, but he's got raid gear and his key DPS AA's done (not counting pet).

Thank you for posting your ini, it is much appreciated.

I can't test it right now but i think this used to work on my necro for Sphere:

DPS1=Remote Sphere of Blight|99|cond1

Cond1=!${Me.Aura[Remote Sphere of Blight Rk. III].ID} && !${Spawn[xtarhater named].ID} && ${Me.XTarget}<=5
