I was too scared to try the campfire thing for fear that I was going to have to start over again when the spider poofed. Glad to know it works! Ended up remaking 4-5 harnesses anyway over my entire group for various other reasons like using a spiderling that died too quick mentioned above...

I noticed you're pulling with refute for honor. I think you lose the hate override in the spell if you're tagging with that first. You're better off pulling with the low damage crush or FoD if you're worried about summons before you land refute on them.
