Leveling - Yeti farming in Lceanium (With a named!)

This is my puller path, has about 10-12 mobs with like 10 min respawns and a named ph, fairly easy.


One of the reasons I like this so much is none of the progression tasks necessarily run over this camp and Lceanium on most servers has a lot of picks so you can really chose an empty pick.

It's hard for me to gauge how easy it is for group geared but it's very easy for my group, though they are raid geared. Any tank/Real Healer/CC should be able to handle it even if you're a little light on dps. 1 wizards and 1 dps tank were able to handle it.

The yeti's do have a light damage shield but fire nukes break it (wizards, rangers, mages, necros) and one shot of eradicate magic dispels it as well (wizards, necros, enchanters, mages)
 
I wish my server had multiple picks!
 
Someone told me when zone population reaches 50 then /pick becomes available

I've been watching these caves and over the past week I have not seen anyone in them.
Seems to be a good place for AFK although I've never been into them.
Are they too difficult? Too easy? Not worth it?
 
Super easy, with an SK pulling and getting a 4 pack, no issues at all. Ran for 48 hours straight

TBM geared SK
TBM geared Druid
TBM geared rog
basically no gear cleric
no gear shaman
and eok t1 group zerker.

Was able to cap aa on the sk with no wipes, ever.
 
You will more than likely kill the camps out too quickly and have about 5 minutes of downtime in between spawn waves. YMMV.

I was running into this issue (I think) while trying to use MQ2Nav during the OS revamp. It would want to pull mobs from a completely different level of OS, rather than in the camp I was sitting within.
 
Is there an ideal tilesize for the mesh used for lc? William, what did you use?
 
Heh, I do not generally try to pull through wall, obviously.

But I found some parts of the yeti caves allow for a line of sight though the walls, which causes some issues when pulling. The toon will stutter (thinking there is a line of sight so hey, lets shoot an arrow of cast a spell or what ever) only it has passed the point where LoS was.

Establishing some checks and balances for this type of thing is a work in progress. I was letting EQMan know he is not alone in having issues in the yeti tunnels, and what I believe the issue is.

Have also has issue with MQ2Nav basically trying to corner too sharply around things, and getting stuck. Working out how to adjust the mesh to account for such things
 
Yeti's at this camp at lvl110 give 0.05%XP and 25%AAXP

edit: decimals cos my brain don’t work too goooood
