IRL - WTB - Mentorship / Guide

Hello all,

I’m somewhat new to EverQuest and brand-new to multiboxing.

I just started on Teek TLP. Ever since grouping with a Warrior who was also his own Shaman and Rogue - I’ve found the idea fascinating and I’m itching to get on board.

Also ran into a pack of 67 Magicians all running around on top of each other. While maybe one of the coolest things I’ve seen, I don’t think that’s my style. Lol

I’ve browsed through this website and watched some videos. However, I have a learning disability that makes it extremely difficult for me to follow written guides or video tutorials.

I’d be happy to pay someone for their time to walk me through setting up a small group, maybe just three characters to start.

it is pretty easy to get started

start there, then start messing with what automation you want to use.


there are out-of-the-box options like RGMercs or the paid-for "cwtn class plugins" where you have to do minimal "setup-up".

you could be 3 boxing in literally 30 minutes

I would urge you to read through what sic posted and then join discord to ask questions. lots of active folks to help you with questions. That said tons of info available on the forums as well. Good luck, take your time and read a lot!

So, I haven’t advanced to 3-boxing just yet.

However, I did pick up the CWTN Beastlord plugin - I’d like to pilot the Beastlord as the ‘Main’ in my eventual group.

Things I’d like to figure out how to do, but cannot:
- Keep “Growl of the …” buff active on Pet
- Keep “Ferocity” active on (Melee/Group) myself & pet
- Promised Heal pet @ 90%
- Direct Heal pet @ 50%
- Slow All xTargets

CWTN BST struggles
- I can’t figure out how to change the spell loadout.
- I can’t figure out how to prevent it buffing my pet with ‘Spirit of..’ (anti-tanking buff)
- Occasionally my pet goes into *will not attack anything mode* in which I have to turn on /pet hold and then turn off /pet hold

I think i’m a little further along than when I began last week, but still feel far away from knowing what the heck I’m doing.

Familiarize yourself with the mq2bst settings and how they work. And read the faq and what not.

We don't willy billy target around your x target to slow things, so some things you'll want to either handle target swapping for that,nor adjust your expectations.
