WoW Rogue strategy (rarely get hurt while killing higher lvl monsters)
Ok, first off you have to know gouge, backstab, and have crippling poison. Ok just to let you know i don't see alot of rouges where i lvl up or farm so i have no idea if other people use this or not, but i also use this in battlegrounds & I'm usually #1 person on my team, this also works on monsters that are hard to kill (aka dark red), and always kill monsters that don't have movement imparing effects for full effect and make sure you have a little room to run around. alright, first of all put the crippling poison on your weapon (perferably daggers since they attack faster than swords). Ok run up to your target at start attacking him, after about 2 hits gouge him, run up behind him & back up some, run right towards him, when u go through him backstab him and keep running, if u do this at the correct time he won't even hit u & he will most likely be unable to catch you, after gouge is ready repeat the process until he dies, when i first tried this he only hit me 1 time & i killed him fairly quickly for a red threat. Ok there are the occasional glitches where when you backstab them when running through they will magically appear in front of you, but they will usually only get in a hit or 2.
