Winter's Roar Server

Just a piece of info for anyone who might be looking into playing on eqemu servers....

Winter's Roar is a pretty good server so far. There's usually over 100 people online (which is about 50 more than legends servers daily average, some may not know but that's an accurate statement)

You level much faster there than on eqlive. It's not level 1-20 in 5 minutes, but its considerably faster than eqlive. Spells are different, zones are different, aa's are different, zones have diff names and diff connections.

It's basically a whole new server that doesnt relate to eqlive in any way except maybe the graphics.

I'm playing there now and might be playing there permanently if I like the mid to high game.

Looks like they don't like you using SEQ or MQ2 either.

I don't like the fact that you are only alowed to play two characters at the same time.

Mq2 doesnt work on eqemu servers first of all.

Second, it's different from eq live servers for a reason. There's a reason for the changes the made and definitely a reason for not being able to box more than 2 chars. Although, if you wanted to get serious about it...they say you can as long as there are more than 2 people playing but I don't know how much checking up there is.

I love how mana/hp regen is like WoW, increases when not in combat.

I to have messed around on Winter's Roar.... and for the record, you can 3 box.. but that is the limit... you are allowed three accounts on the site, and you can box with each of em. I personally have found that 2 boxing a cleric / anything pretty much covers anything you'd need.. particularly the cleric / sk combo. But WR is really a good server most deffinately worth checking out... I'm liking it but dont expect to spend much time there 'cause my beasty just got flagged for qvic and having ALOT of fun raiding there.

Thats whole fun part lol, screw slaving for hours to get items, if wanted that, I'd go play live.
