Windows XP Service Pack 3 ... Whoops.

If you run Windows XP there is a new service pack out, but do not install it until after you read the article linked below.

It's working fine for me, however, with my Intel processor. So far.

I had this problem, had to wipe my hard drive and reinstall EVERYTHING. Now I have finally discovered the cause.

I got this off OCForums who got it elsewhere. Create a new text file, copy and paste below to the new text file, rename it to "microsoftSucks.bat"

This resolves the problem of not being able to download any other update after you get SP3 pack installed. Basically it resets the registry dll's to allow updates to work again. You should try this if you have SP3 installed and working but subsequent update always fail.

Meh I can't even get SP2 to install without getting BSOD death loop. I gave up on it after restoring the 5th time.

Added SP3 to my Intel machines soon as rc2 came out and have had no problems /shrug

I know it mentioned the problems being with AMD and HP but just my 2cp
