Pretty straight forward questions. Looking to run 3+ group either independent or in a raid setting.

I noticed ”new desktop” so created and moved toon 7-12 there took a bit of learning in isboxer to create swap groups

has anyone done this to organize group and enable swapping to predefined group. What drawback will I run across etc

with frame limiter I like using the desktops to know group 2 is healers group 3 will be dps etc and focus in on roles

if anyone can giVe me a heads up both positive and negative on using the extra desktops it would be appreciated

I’m not sure what kind of pros/cons you’re looking for, use them if you like them. There’s no performance penalty

Solution
No it doesn’t have any extra overhead. Think of it more like just hiding windows that you shouldn’t see.

I use multiple desktops to separate work from play

I do not think you will be running into much trouble doing this. But with anything programming related (and new OS), there may be variables that one cannot account for. So, sometimes all you can do is try it out and see how it works for you. You may find logistical issues more of an issue than technical ones.

Same as brain here. I have some posts on the boards about using them and about launching things onto different desktops. Like myseq server, or eqbcs server, things I don't want to see atm

This is exactly what I do. Work on one desktop, farm bots on another. It helps me focus when I should be focusing. ;)
