Is it possible to rename with standardized naming?
Min to Max level, Zone, Special requirements, ....

The goal is to organize it by expansion and level recommendations. Most people include the level in their post, so sorting by expansion seems a good first criteria.

I have some spots in TBM that I think would work for AFK but I don't have the subscription on my other accounts to see if it's truly viable. If someone has TBM on a few accounts I could post some things to try.

As usual, my job is to ask the stupid questions.
Anybody know of an instanced zone that a group of TBM geared 105's can AA in and the mobs respawn?
Afk farming on Zek is dangerous, so, poor exp is better than no exp.

anything would help.

Depends on the camp. Some need a mezzer, some don't.

Generally speaking with my experience on most with this list, all you need a decent group geared tank, a cleric, and a mezzer. The only encounter ive had issues with is Gwararar in ETWK. I could get him while driving but semi afk, my group would wipe. That falls on me for being lazy with holys/downs.

EqGeek ... I added a link addition to your leveling guide to include classic EQ and early expansions ....for early expansion progression servers.

It's something that Maskoi posted about in some thread i ran across... its a great site for leveling guide info.

Consider it a placeholder for if/when you decide to make your own write up for early expansion progression servers.

I think there are plenty of people afk'ing in 100+ spots, but maybe not all are publicized. This is a decent place to start, though. I recommend finding your own spot out of the way and away from named spawns. Also, turn on AFK tools.

If you're AFK grinding in a named spawn point you run a much greater risk of someone coming by who also wants to kill that named and catching you. If you fail to implement AFK tools properly you'll then be botting happily away within full view of someone who knows you're monopolizing a camp while afk. This isn't generally a good idea, and is a good way to bring more attention to MQ2 AND/OR get you reported, suspended, and maybe banned.

What expansions are you looking for more locations for? I added many from my website at the start of this year back in feb but I haven't added anymore since.

I can tell you that afk spots in TBL are out the window with tiny islands and knockback mobs. DB really hammered people who box in this one

Unfortunately I advice your tank to be T3 GEARED in order to farm most TBL spot without constant dying. Cross road in Southwest Empyr is my favourite. Just make sure you pin your toons to counter KB/CHARM. And a BST/MAG helps if your tank got mezzed.

It refers to the idea of autonomous pulling and killing of mobs using macros or plugins to control your characters. If you spend enough time researching and learning how to set up the various afk tools that have been created for MQ2 then you might even get away with it. But you have to be very careful.

I haven't kept this up to date because I left the game after RoS. I recently returned just after TOV launched, and it appears that the game makers decided that "grinding XP" should stop. Probably due to how easy it is to just park our bots and go for a walk while they level. It's not impossible to grind, but it's slower for sure. The majority of the experience comes from completing quests. In fact, my level 103 gained an entire level after finishing the merc/partisan of EW. Unfortunately, going from 110-115 will be impossible because the quests do not give the same amount of experience the 2nd time around.

If I wanted to AFK grind (I'm always at the keyboard though) I think it still effectual in RoS zones where your kill rate is faster. So just something to think about.

To further add upon geeks statement, if you can handle Tomb in Ros pretty well, you can take a crew from 110-115 in about two days played grinding

Here are 2 spots where you can AFK grind in Skyfire (RoS) without fear of the dragon nukes. . There are named at both of these camps.

1. In the tunnels with the right group, you can endlessly pull and farm conflagrant ore.
2. There is a hill in this area (I think it's very close to where the wizport is) where you can park your group and pull mostly singles, mostly sarnak near the entrance to Gorowyn. Expand your radius to pull whatever you want, ignore what you want.

There are spots in Gorowyn also, I'll look at writing these up.

If you can handle ToV, then your best bet for XP is just to do the tasks/progression. Using 110 toons I ended up with 113-115 toons doing all but a few of the group missions.

Otherwise, realize that 110-115 are hell levels for XP killing. It is a slow grind, so pretty much anyplace you can handle large quantities with out sitting on some main quest/zone entrance would work. I was doing well in GMM for example in certain areas, but figured I might as well name hunt ToV Named while XPing for the container rewards, when I was not feeling up to questing.
