Problem - wierd issue with mq2

i log in eq with mq2 running using wineq to log in i get a inject an error i click past it go to play and if i melee i get video lag lock my screen stops updating and when the mob dies it unlocks I dont see any movement

i quit turn off mq2 then turn it on after im in game no melee lag loc ?? any ideas?

Are you loading MQ2 first, I read somewhere on this site that you should start MQ2 before you start wineq.

when i run it with mq2 up like your supposed to i get the bug,,,

when i run it after eq is loaded i dont...

... are your in-game controls for fps set to unlimited... or max or whatever the word it uses is?

I've read somewhere that if you have more than 1 program trying to control framerate it gets wonky.

am having same problem, had to reboot one of my characters and now i get "injection failed" message and character locks up. all other toons still working ok.

Getting this issue too but it seems to be working normally. Found an old thread with a similar bug:

reinstalled mq2 with the new installer bug gone
