Question - Which poisons are you using at 120?

My rogue finally took a break from combat and maxed his poison-making skill this weekend, and will hopefully be making some new poisons soon for my group members. So which poisons are you making for your other melee characters?

It looks like I should be using Spider's Bite XXI on the other toons: BST, BER, BRD, SK, and continue with the clicky-pants summoned one for the rogue. Having not spent much time in ToL other than merc and partisan quests in ME and Umbral, are the drop rates decent for Luclinite Laced Nigriventer Venom?

Do any of you make Scorpion's Agony for the hate component for your tanks?

Are any of the other poisons with various procs worth making, outside of just having the mats in general?

Likely Shadow Valley Grind (Basilicca mission) it's better for laced.

As to the tanks I just use spiders poison. Aggro isn't really an issue I feel like. All my chars are set for 99 or 100% assist - never been a problem.

Thanks...like I said been a really long time for me. I apparently did not use MQ2Grind, but instead ground it out with CWTN plugins in an area in VT.

Nigriventer drops are extremely rare. If you insist on using them full time on all melee characters, you will run out fast. I only use them during raids as group content isn't worthy of something this limited.

That doesn't sound too promising Whelps, but I really appreciate the info; there's no telling how much time you just saved me in searching for a decent spot to wait for a train that's not coming.

Perhaps I should have asked this question before levelling his poison-making. Man, buying it is even out of the question as well (for me at least); the going rate in the bazaar since Thursday is 25k each. I can't float a 100k/hour habit lol.

Get the older venoms (TOV/ROS era), it still boosts stuff and I'd have to look again but should also still proc rogues alliance if that was one of the goals. The TS overseers for TOV may even reward the poison components but I would need to check. Also the aggro on your non-tanks from the others shouldn't be enough to cause issues especially if your tank is also using them

All current poison mats are extremely common off the skellies in Shadeweavers Thicket now.

You can grind them from Shar Vahl mission, maybe 1 or 2 max per run.
