OK so I have a group of Monk/Zerker/Cleric/Bard/Warrior. What would be a good 6th one? shaman or druid? someone told me druid for portd but someone told me shaman for buffs I need a second healer due to fact of for some reason I cant figure out but my cleric sucks ass I mean max AA full tds raid cant main heal in tds with kiss but if I manually play I can main heal in raids pretty damn good.

...someone told me druid for ports but someone told me shaman for buffs...

yup.

parts of the shaman hp buffs will stack with the cleric hp buffs, their slows have a heal worked in, they have a "sluggish" proc...

running 6 toons to a camp is also a major pain, so ports are lovely, and druids get snares & DS's that add to group dps...

shaman heals seem more aligned with heals over time while druids are more instant heals

I tried both and ended up happier with a shaman than druid. Fortunately my druid is on a separate account and I can log him in to port my group around when needed.

At the end of the day both are totally viable options, the shaman buffs in my personal opinion will strengthen your melee toons a lot whereas a druid doesn't have a the stat buffs to offer.

*also, you could just level a druid / wizard for ports on a F2P account and use them when needed.

Guess its time to Heroic a Shaman lol thank you! I have a mage to Coth through zones on a f2p account

I personally am partial to the Shaman as well. Ports are nice but with GH not really necessary.

If you are having troubles with your Cleric healing, you may need to adjust your KA ini. I would also recommend thet you would try and use MQ2Heals Plugin (or AutoCleric). The Plugin works WITH your KA mac (and is also usable with Shamans and Druids).

Now ANOTHER posible option you could go with is a Beastlord - Shaman type buffs, slows, patch heals, Paragon (mana/end regen), Pet (that if buffed correctly can snare) added DPS, Etc.

Ranger can add similar things as Druid (other than ports) and could be an option as well.

Oh, don't you just LOVE options....:bang:

MQ2Heals + Autocleric is a pretty badass combo for cleric healing.

A beast they can slow, heal, and increase dps.

Also I haven't played in awhile but Pete's Bot plugin worked amazing on my cleric I was able to duel box on raids with it easy.

I'm still a big fan of druids... they port / do decent damage / patch heal.
BST are also shining in groups, I could never run a shaman in a group where I felt happy with their performance. They just felt meh, would rather have a cleric than a shaman main healing, rather have a BST or ENC for slows.

I added a druid to my group which is enchanter (played as the tank), Wiz, Druid, with wiz x 3 mercs. Excellent damage, great buffs, and since the enchanter only needs a few heals occasionally as well as a cure when dealing with named mobs, it's a great addition. You also get cheetah speed, and druid skin, etc. Even with the druid adding so much to the group, I find myself going back to Enc, Wiz, Wiz, and 2 wiz mercs and a Cleric merc. Who needs buffs and heals when content falls flat in about 3 seconds? :D

With an enchanter you pop Illusions of Grandeur, Calculated Insanity, then Chromatic haze. Have Twincast Aura and Mana Recip auras up.... Everyone casts their biggest nuke spell and you'll see the TBM named drop from 100% to 50% or 30% in one nuke. My wiz will hit for a million, not including all the twincasts and extra damage casts.

Dead in 3 seconds, humm try non trivial content, just sayin. Shaman slows are game breakers on namerss and hard targets. To me ur group looks well rounded, shaman will finish it up quite nicely, oh and the bard slow stacks with shaman. I wouldnt hesitate to take ur group to judicator and take him down. Some of the other suggestions on groups not so much. Beastlord is a viable option too, just watch the pet on judicator, he will eat the pet ( i think death touch u in the process along with the other 2 trur pet classes) and u to get to a better fight.

thank you all for the options I love the help I get with Redguides this is why I continue to play. one day ill be helpful to others and pass it on !!!
