Backstory_ my team consists of a 112 SK, (all expansions) a 110 Shaman, Mage, and literal trashcan zerker (working on get this nerd caught up on aa, hes 4k behind the others, newest addition) which are missing the last 2 expansions so level capped atm.

i've mostly just found my own way, dying a fair amount, picking a location in an empty zone (getting easier and easier these days *tear) and limit testing. So far i've learned a lot, yet still dont have any idea how to navigate my toons without alt-tabbing a ton....we'll keep at it though.

Ok enough chit chat.

What i'd like to see added *suppresses giggle* is a way for CWTN plugins, or just Mq2 to earn more plat than I spend. So like just over the amount that your soon to be ex wife can spend.

My routine consists of raid on Mischief in my favorite plat raiding guild 3 times a week, buying Krono for all the plat I earn on the raids, moving back to my little squad on FV and doing my part to drop the cost of krono sales (lets face it, 6mil is NUTS for a krono!)
OR and this is a future idea, using the krono to pay for my accounts. I'm monthly now and the wife is starting to look at me like she made a mistake....

anyway. EOK does drop a lot of gems, and in 24 hours i can get me around 200k pp or just under....totally not afk...never, not once...except during my brothers wedding...though i'd rather have been playing eq since he married into the biggest family of karens...ok i'm getting off topic....

I'm always looking for better ways to earn some coin. Id like to add a beastlord, and bard to my team. Just doing it one at a time, the slow way =)

or I'll start over on rizlona with a full team of 6.

but thats my request =)

this isn't really a feature request, or have anything to do with cwtn or myself.

earn more than you spend.

go farm old zones that drop things like blue diamonds

plenty of ways to farm zones be it huntertank mode with cwtn plugins, pocketfarm by kaen, or the many other huntery type modes that various automation suites have

there is likely an influx of people doing AP atm with the AoCs getting added to live servers - so you could probably make some easy plat with some of the needed forages from various parts of that quest line. or even piece of that quest line like the artisan seals or sub combines.

Seriously though, just razzing you! if you cant have fun what can you have?

Getting a new toon properly outfitted costs a ton! drunkard's stein, very fast mount, etc, especially if you;re dumb like me and buy them off the AH.
that said I have what I call "EQ FOMO" (fear of missing out) so doing the things I should do like 2.0s, farming lower level zones, missions, etc get put off for more xp...Its hard to stop doing what im doing to go do something else with unknown variables.
 
FV krono's are not 6m. they rarely break 5m atm, seen them as low as 4.5m this weekend.. anyways, off topic.

You play on FV. Go farm RoSN, diamond tipped war jav... any 1 of those is 1m plat for 45 min of work, most of it walking to the zones. Shrink clickies are good sellers, 200k-1m each. TBM no pres type 5 augs. eok/ros augs, the dragon evolving items (OT hammer, healer click). SK 1.5, 2.0 pieces (500k-2m each), Anguish BP's (class locked). Alot of ways to make plat on FV, mostly farming stuff others are to busy (lazy) to do.

RoSN? I've seen the war jav on the baz for way more than I'd spend on it.
 
Don't farm plat, farm TS materials. I make a fortune selling COV TS mats. I work from home so I have the luxury of running a KA bot army in a nice, out of the way spot for hours. Advloot auto loots pelts, logs, diamonds, etc. At night I dump all the stuff on my mule and ini the morning I am 100-200k richer,

Are sunshard ore still hot sellers? A year or so ago I made alot of plat on FV running pocketfarm on heroic monks in Buried Sea (the zone) and bloodfields. Ran them while working from home and could clear 50-100k per monk per day. Looted all the TS drops and just bartered them.

I find the biggest key to farming plat is to find an out of the way (or a few out of the way) places on your server, be it TS mats sold to other players or Gems to a merchant working best for you; the lack of compition and a good kill rate is key. That all said, when I need plat I tend to go as follows:

The Grounds.
Zeka/Beza.

Both those options can lead to lots of mass killing, good respawns and loot that erns some quick plat on Vendors.

Understand the server I play on is poor, a krono goes for 500K, so TS and selling stuff to players is not a way to make plat as much as selling to merchants.

Make burner accounts,With burner emails. can use one email for multiaccounts cause [email protected] and [email protected] and [email protected] all will go to the same inbox, you can just move the peroid around and have 'New emails' then throw SK's on them, throw them in the best possible non gold group gear ( 110 would be snowbound) , set them hunter tank in group gear you can, and gold them once, to get auto grant and just set them in an area that would be considered a camp, dont let them run if your not at the keboard and overtime youll build up easy plat, just have them on when your at your pc

Phinny, we have a low population and I only see Kronos sell occasionally, often with new people coming to get a footing on the server. as a post-progression server yet-to-be merged we offer a low population, and as a side effect of 3 months of xpacs and armor upgrades the players still here are poor.
 
The way to farm Platinum is to go after Trade skill items. Look for Silks , Pelts and other similar types of items that people need/want to upgrade their skills or make specific gear with them.

Use the /bazaar and see what is in demand , then go to the zone that drops them
 
Just an alternative way to make plat...old world spell drops vendor quite nicely actually. Korascian Warrens and Rathe Council Chambers both have several camps where you'll score Blue Diamonds, Diamonds, and TONS of 80-85 spell drops.
 
Also look for rare forages and park your forage bot. Koraskian Sprigget (Rathe council chambers is the only zone) are a pain to forage but are needed in just one quest, once a year at anniversary time. There are a couple other items in that quest that take forever to get - forage also - and I know if they were in the baz I would snatch them up.

I never made that much in the Zeka/Beza thing. I think that is all just Shadow Knight hype 😉 about killing the whole zone and getting rich.

Oddly enough Collects still bring some good plat in the baz if you get the right ones, but don't get greedy.

Yes that Collect may be from COV/TOV or where ever but no one is going to pay 100k.

So if you put yours up for 5-10k it will sell fast.

I blew through over 400 collect things in Overseer and did not even finish one expansion. It takes 4 to make 1. So now I hunt the baz for the others.
 
If you really want to make Platinum.

What I see people doing is: Person goes in Barter mode and buys Trade skill items from other players at cheap price. Then they take the same items into Bazaar mode and sell them for way more.

But this is like a buying and selling strategy. You need to know your stuff and research to do this
 
Just remember, everything said in this thread will probably be farmed by another person who read this thread as well. The server I play on is swarmed by monks camping all the common areas mentioned in here thanks to threads like these. These monks run non-stop every day, so most of the people aren't ever going to tell you what they actually do that will allow you to camp their same spot.

i agree, there is no secret squirrel place.. as mentioned, playing the market also works (on FV ID the PC raiders, they sell old gear lower then market, snag and resell)
