I know there are a few plat farming guides. But I was wondering if I gave my stats an ability if someone could recommend the best place for me....

Level 105 SK. 125khps 10kac.
Skill: Below Average Swarm Skill


What I am looking for...Being able to either chain pull, or if my below average skill can handle it, pull 4-8 mobs a time.

Problem is single toon farming plat is SLOW! If you add a merc you lose a shitload of plat paying him, so I would consider boxing, at least 2 or even 3, even at FTP levels.
 
For farming, like Razkle say, an F2P mage or wizard will do you a lot better than a merc indeed.
 
set up in a low level area with hunter and farm diamonds and such? i know ive made a killing just leveling because it loots all the plat worth while shit, and I set everything else to destroy so it doesnt take bag space.
 
Here is what I can box:
105 Sk (J5 Cleric Merc max AA)
105 Cleric (Thinking of exchanging it for a Beastlord)
105 Enchanter
105 Wizard
 
go to a lower level zone and just run kiss... let it farm cash items to be honest thats where the easy money is
 
Honestly your 4 man group is perfect for any ROF Zone to rape it of diamonds!

your 4 man group in a zone like morel's castle should net you a mil every few days, I know mine does! That's just in vendor trash, I also keep the sellable loot and some of it goes for 50k-100k a pop
 
I am going to give you a slight hint, wiz A2 merc is cheap DPS ( I think 16PP vs 160PP for J5 at 105) and awesome for farming even on a F2P account.
 
I use an A2 on my 85 to PL and he is pretty cheap but he does go down like a prom date
 
If you use a krono on a f2p account, when it expires it is now a silver account. With silver account you can use an A5 merc.
 
not anymore, if you're paying with card it reverts to what you were before. i.e. if you had a grandfathered silver and went all-access I believe you go back to silver, but if you take a f2p account to all access with a CC and then back it will go back to f2p.
 
Think I have 16 accounts, 3 are 14 to 15 years old, 6 or so are @9 years and the rest are at least 5 years or so. Not sure what they're actually credited for, just how many years ago I started them.

How do you know youre grandfathered in?
 
For me the stern look my wife gives me when I tell her I have to go check my team tells me I am grandfathered in, your mileage may vary....

Here is a little trick I use, when I look in the bazaar and people are selling crazy dropables for insane monies, I go farm a few of them. Belt of Daggers was 500k on my server for awhile
 
Is it possible to afk farm wouldn't mind investing in a box team on FV to get some
Krono / plat
 
REMEMBER if you afk farm do it smart! Find an out of the way place no one goes, if you see even 1 person in the zone on a regular basis then you prolly need to move on. There are hundreds of places you can go! Don't be that guy in grounds!
 
was thinking about starting a afk grp for the grounds and calling them Thatone Guy and Thatone Girl make the guild the grounds? lol jk
