Where do you farm a mill or so a day?

Currently I been playing with Evantill and farming silk which is nice 1 to 2 stacks a day of doing it depending on how long I leave it run for. Also found setting up camp in TDS T3 and getting names and loots is been a nice way. But been seeing more and more people in places I go on FV, anyone have any other places where you can make a mill a day or so? Also my est of plat is by selling tradeskill drops on my mule too.

No single team can reliably farm 1mil day in pure plat(need multiple teams for that), but i'd imagine someone farming the new TBM currency could do pretty well.

lol i used to do a mill every 8 hours aboutttt 4 patches ago.
but its fixed now sadily.

edited to reiterate how sad i am its fixed.

Yeah I only can get a couple hundred 100k in pure plat but like I said I usually average a mill fully by selling trade skill items in bazaar on mule.

Must be nice. If I leave my team run for 12 hours, I make around 65k. Granted, my camp isn't the best one, but it's safe.

My recommendations is becoming good at making market spreadsheets honestly. Since I keep spreadsheets of FV server markets I usually can cut lower than avg and still sell quick. Also at the same time playing the auction house is fun. So many people don't research stuff and price it and i'll snag it up when I see it. Like TDS trade skills are usually good place.

agree the best I can do is about 300k a day with my 4 wiz, 1 war, 1cleric team with all vendor trash... day in day out.... and that's if no one else is in the zone so I can basically pull the whole place non-stop

HOT TIP: check the market for stuff no one want to farm so the price is way up.. like High Quality Lion Skin goes for pretty high and it can be farmed by a toon of around level 60+ with no chance of death. I watch for stuff people pay good for then I go farm that stuff too. Not hard to make 150k extra a day in single loot sales to others.

HOT TIP2: Barter is your friend! I watch for IDIOTS who want 1000 Relic Fragments on barter at 500p + each then I dump 1000 on them! watch the trends and you can clean up!

Hottest Plat Farming tip in all of EQ, honest! Farm stuff 20 levels below you and kill fast, more kills equal more plat, if you are trying to also get exp then you are not plat farming, so level on your own time! At 105 any class can pretty much kill stuff in looping plains, Katta Castrum or Muramite Proving Grounds... basically check out where Blue Diamonds drop and find a zone around 20 levels under you (15 if you can hack it) and go farm there! Kill fast, loot up! The higher the level of the zone the more diamonds drop! Looping Plains is FanFucking-tastic for diamonds! Obviously a full group kills faster then solo, I created a group of FTP 100s JUST for farming plat! 100s with FTP gear will murder all of Looping Plains fast!

Examples of my main looter after a week in the field.... I sell all my vendor loot with 1 click (in sell window I select the BAG and it lets you sell the contents in 1 click!)

So if we do the math, that is 699999+121904+102523+127047+268952+16656= 1,337,081plat or a daily average of 191k for VENDOR TRASH!

Brother Island used to make me around a mill per day. Purity of Chastity, UR's and relic fragments all added up to this rough sum, but it's not a place where you should play AFK.

When everyone talks about evantil, are you talking about inside the actual tree in that first room? Seems like there is not enough mobs there to add to the amount silks people are saying. I must be doing it wrong?

tradeoff, up top you get more silks but you risk falling off, down below with a good team I get 70-100 a day

Also, if your groups able to pound HoT mobs, finding a good spot with high name density can also yield scuffed bags :)

Scuffed 28 and 32 slotters sell for over 1M, but I am yet to get one of those from HOT named. COTF+ yes.

Best I've gotten from HOT named have been a 24 slotter.

I have gotten prolly 15 20+ slot bags in the last 6 months mostly the weapons crate thou

I watch the baz and buy big bags/boxes anytime they are on the cheap, realize 2 or 4 extra slots can mean an extra 50-80k a run so it pays for itself pretty quick. For God's Sake FARM the mats for Tailored Transcendant bags, its EASY!

Tailor Transcendant bags shopping list
1. Evantil inside the tree below or up top will get you Befouled Silk AND Befouled Pelts at about 2:1 rate so perfect as it takes 2 and 1 to make a bag
2. Wesk Karana is farmable or if you are real lazy you can FORAGE Ethernere Essence 3 to make 1 bag

Seriously I just made over 700 bags from about a week or so farming the mats, 1 time investment and I will Never need bags again! Also they sell nicely!

I agree I picked up tailoring and pottery myself seem to make money off bags and powersources plus always next to cost to me for when I need things. Currently I run 2 groups SK BRD Ceric and 3 wiz mercs than War Enc Cleric 3 wiz mercs slowing pling wizz'es to replace mercs

Does MQ2Nav work decently up top, or even MoveUtils? Haven't gone up top yet there, may check it out later after work.

In my experience... no. Not at all. I've watched my puller go sky dive off the ramps multiple times with MQ2Nav and the meshes from here. It's fun to watch at least.

If your going to be at PC you can just be puller and let rest of group run kiss assist. What I do when I pull from top or camp up top

I loathe MQ2Nav it caused me so much problems and crashes when zoneing I gave it up for moveutil but it does not aviold the holes up there so....

One other trick I use to save me having to run all of my mules back and forth is I have a buyer setup that I load in when I want to clear off mules. I just /barter to and then use them to sell off what I want to sell to vendors and other stuff gets stored. Can set prices stupid low so doesn't interfere with your plat volume on the mule in question. Can also use this same trick for clearing out all those pesky lore items that you want to horde!

I use the /barter or better yet I have OLD toons with Tenth Year: Summon Resupply Agent - A Merchant is summoned to your side who will sell supplies and buy your loot off you. He remains up for 10 minutes or until you get rid of him. Refreshes every 20 hours. so once a day you can sell all your loots!

I've been using Beast's Domain with a 3-box team (War, Shm, Mnk) + healer merc and I've been clearing 192k/24 hrs

My current get-rich-quick scheme:

1) Flag my rogue for static Smoke zone
2) Collect ALL THE SHINIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
3) Put them on /trader for stupid insane prices

... I see others trying to sell stupid Smoke collectibles for like 200k a piece... I purposefully undercut those fucks because... F you.

But, I'm going to keep collecting them and the Stratos ones (cause they're terrible to get) and selling for tons of plat. I'm clearing 500k a day selling collectibles, if I stay adequately stocked.

Damn, 500k a day. You've got me beat

The part where I said "if I stay adequately stocked" is key. I don't spend enough time during the week keeping my trader full with all the crap he should have, so I tend to vary between 50k and 500k. Sometimes I'll sell a particularly high-ticket item (like an EoK chase loot) that'll bump me to 1mil or 2 mil, but that's rare these days.

So, I don't feel like getting it nerfed so I won't be sharing my exact spot ... but there are some camps that can pull insanely good plat without needing an amazing crew.

Exact amounts vary day to day based on drops, but my current best camp is (average) 965k/day with a single non-prestige 105 character.

Can post some screenshots of my MQ2PlatTracker results when I get home if anyone is interested.

I was freakin KILLING IT in Dead Hills back in the day.... those mobs dropped TS materials and diamonds like it was their job.

That's crazy! Are you in a static zone? Could you at least give me some hints

Are you in a static zone?
No. I couldn't ever find a static zone with enough mobs to rake in that kind of plat.

Could you at least give me some hints
Find mobs that you can mow through in a couple hits that drop decent loot and farm away. If the mobs you are fighting last longer than a few seconds each you are fighting in a zone that is too challenging to be good for platinum for you. 300-500 mobs per hour is the range you are looking to hit, the higher the better obviously.

Gyrospire Beza / Gyrospire Zeka / Fort Mech are decent, the humanoids drop raw plat and the robots drop a ton of tinkering goods most notably the mechanotablets which vendor for about 200plat each and probably have around a 25% or better drop rate in my experience.. I prefer camps such as those because the bulk of your money is raw drops / vendor trash so you aren't reliant on people buying your goods to make plat.

an instanced zoned with enough mobs and respawns to run for 24 hours and killing around 500 mobs an hour, i want to know, cause thats better than the zones i do, and therei make about 400-500k every 10-12 hours

There’s been a bit of chat on My server recently about a vendor in North Ro. He’s got 600k+ of some materials, thousands of pelts, ores etc. I went to check it out for myself and saw a lot of OoW specific loots on there.

Sorry to spoil anyone’s spot if you’re trying to hide it, but it’s very well known on my server anyway from the amount of talk about it.

Definitely macro run and from the amount of loot on it since patch day it must be well over a mill a day.

I heard about them as well on the everquest main forums. From the sounds of it someone has a bunch of mages running the instances in RCoD and then vendoring in North Ro, also seems to be running on multiple servers from the sounds of it.

Seems irresponsible to use the vendor they are to me though. Plenty of options for vendors that wouldn't make it obvious to the world what they are doing.

Just the other day i averaged 30 million in a 12 hour span on 1 single character. Simply get on a rog run and grab collections get shit tons i mean tons 10 of each collection or more then after putting in that time set auctions in general up. Remember collections level the new gear also. Very desired on some servers for people trying level their items. Reason i say 10 of each is because you also wanna upcharge and make money off people by breaking up a set to sell singles of their missing pieces. So for example Droga collections i easily can get 750k a set. Chardok / sarith tomb normally 1m a set skyfire i normally get 750k to 1m a set. Goes on and on and on do it from rof to current and you will never worry about plat again. Also take requests to build clients up who refer you to other friends to keep it going other then auctioned items.

R.I.P. Sanctus Seru vendorable mount bridles... used to be so good.

- - Creatures that previously dropped Silken Bridles will now instead drop Ornate Silken Bridles.
- - Ornate Silken Bridles are equivalent to Silken Bridles with the exception that they cannot be sold back to Galic Amondson, are lore, and cannot be used in Roboboar, Worg, or Ornate Barding combines.
