I had to bring this up, wille waiting on MQ.
I´m an old school guy, and love old games.
When I´m not on EQ, here what I preffer:
Heroes of Might and Magic III (yes, must be the III)
Dungeon Keeper (gezzz, thats old)
Baldur´s Gate I and II (nah, not the new one)

And offline _ Magic the Gathering _ from 1999 Revised to 2026 Marvel.

And you? What´s your crack when not on EQ???

Might be fun to remember old stuff.

Since I don't play EQ anymore here is what I have been doing lately.

Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen (test server and sometimes the live build)
Monsters and Memories (just released EA)
Guild Wars 2
Path of Exile
Nintendo Switch games: Zelda: BotW, FF 12 - Zodiac Age, Mario games.
I have mainly been watching shows/movies while at work as I have been forced to keep my hands busy.

Patch/downtime is used to take care of real world things such as cleaning, going to the DMV, getting errands done, visiting friends, etc. If it's a scheduled patch, I know it's gonna be down for at least a day or two, so I plan accordingly. Unscheduled downtime is used for small chores around the house (I call them wife "Faction Quests") so I'm not KoS when logging in

Depends on my mood. Most times recently, I just take a break and don't play anything. Other times I might fire up something from my steam library, or an emulator, usually something I can just jump into the action quickly for maybe 15-20 mins, or jump onto EQ2 for a bit and dork around there for awhile. I also use the opportunity to catch up on things that need to be done around the house that I've been putting off. I find that taking breaks altogether and doing something else are the best, because it makes coming back and playing more exciting and satisfying.

Yes, they are! I hadn't heard of it either. A guildmate sent it to me because he knew my son loves dinosaurs. I got it on sale for 13 bucks. I think there are different versions of the game, but we play on the voice pvp proximity servers. The voice chat is pretty cool you just need to not take things personal.

You pick your dinosaur (herbivore, carnivore, or omnivore) and you raise it to it fully grown. You have to eat, drink water, look for certain dietary components and if you do it all right you can make a prime. Prime is the biggest and baddest. You do this while trying to stay alive and not get killed by other dinosaurs and that includes your own kind. If you die, you start over!!!!! There are three bosch servers you can choose from and if you log out, they save your progress until you get killed.

I'm still learning to play, but it is pretty hard core because you never know who you are going to run into and whether they will be friendly or not. You die a lot, but it is strangely addicting.

The crocodiles are my favorite! Nothing like an ambush attack and dragging them into the water to drown them. I've still yet to even get one to full grown, but a prime Deinosuchus isn't to be messed with.
