Discussion - What the heck is a dicho

I've only played pre-LDON, now that my chars are hitting 110, I think I should probably figure out what a dicho is and how to get/use them.

dicho/dissident/composite are sort of evolving abilities, one per class. Dicho comes from TBM, Dissident from TBL, Composite from CoV.
They "level up" by completing quests, raids, and so on.

So do I mess with doing the older ones or just go right for the higher level ones?

For most situations, newer = better. I think it's something like Rank 1 Composite = Rank 4 Dissident, or something.
For Beastlords there hasn't been a real increase, just a mana increase, so they are still using older stuff if it's maxed in level.

A lower level one that has a higher progression might be more beneficial.

The upgrade point is roughly tier 1 of new is same as tier 5 of old but the old one is less mana or endurance
