Can you reproduce the issue?

Yes, any raid target where the mob has AE mana drain and casters have to stand outside range of AE, yet are inside their spell casting range.

What is the max distance between caster and designated MA , that caster will assist and nuke the MA's target?

From what I can tell, I am finding some raid fights where my casters have be out of range of mana drain AE's, but are still well within their spell casting range, yet they refuse to engage.

Where is this setting located, and how do I adjust it?

MeleeDistance (default 75)
Maximum radius for mob engagement.
Mobs outside this radius will not be engaged.

Tank modes use this distance to decide if mobs should be engaged.

Also applies to casters engaging with spells even when MeleeOn=0.

This is a crucial piece of information!

I failed to read as I assumed logically, no melee on, does not apply to casters.
Curious how this line works for casters in an entire section that is not "turned on" as it's not in use for me.

Now, how on Norrath do I figure out the distance needed for certain raid fights so I don't have my casters engaging mobs from across the zone when pulling with the puller lol

One specific fight where this is a problem is in SoF Crystallos, Fire Wyvrn mini, casters have to stay up on ramp while melee is on him (hes rooted in place) My casters never engage, now I know why.

For now I doubled it to 150, I guess I'll have to wait for next raid to see if that's enough.
