what is eqemu?

as the question asks.... only seen it here and well am a bit bored so want to know

im guessing its EQ but on emulated servers but erm well what is it? and how do i use it etc etc?

Eqemu uses the everquest client to, for lack of a better word, run, non-soe servers

To use it, read the bleeding guide ;p

bleh... yah ur right lol i got kinda connected cant accually get onto the server but think thats coz ive got a fully patched version and the eqemu uses the older version coz it breaks it or somet /shrug.

guessing u can use mq2 etc and warp around to ur hearts content.

also running ur own server... is it posable? say if i ran one and just connected it my self wud i = god? (just intrested for a mess about lol)

Yes it's possible, and you need to backpatch, and yes you would be god. I had my own server for a short while.

so with ur own server im guessing it just normal eq but yours instead.....

Download that and put it in your EQEmu folder
