Question - What happened here?

Hey guys, im recently back to the game and im not too up to date on everything thats been going on but i feel like there used to be a lot more compiles here with a lot more in them than the very vanilla. I'm not trying to step on anyone's toes or insult anyone just curious if its because of something SOE did so that stuff isn't availiable anymore? or People being too busy ? etc etc.

Sony is suspending people for using mq2. The vanilla compile is the safest way to go right now. Until they figure out how to use active hacks with out it throwing up red flags they won't be available.

Ahh, that makes a lot of sense especially with it going free to play now. Thanks for responding and dealing with my ignorance =], its much appreciated.

I was actually really curious about this too haha, I resubbed 2 or 3 days ago. Feels so weird playing EQ without /warp again XD

Haha I know the first thing I tried was /warp and than I kicked myself because I couldn't remember how to load it or what plugin it was in... Turns out it wasn't hahaha

It's best to lay low, with Sony doing all of their bans, the vanilla compile is the best way. MacroQuest has become a much larger active hacking community, and with the way it was on the TLP servers, Sony had to crack down because it was their big cash crop since the game had been falling to the wayside.
