Today I learned and I'm excited to know this.

Time to fire up a non-work github account and brush off my C++ chops

Edit: forgot C++ on Windows is gonna be different that *nix (vs compiler instead of [insert compiler of choice here]... Still want to try my hand though

Though I saw someone mention offset and patch day in passing. That sounds like assembly to me.
 
It's probably something stupid of my own doing, but since patching EQ and installing the latest MQ update, I seem to have most of my toons crash when zoning. If anyone has any insight/advice on this, it would be greatly appreciated.
 
i have tried to uninstall all of the launcher and files but when reinstalled it still wont load all i get is debug console window the texts in debug window last line of text reads performing injections on any existing eqgame.exe processes but eq is not running
 
ok quick update ive managed to toggle off debug and get launcher running but i have no mq2 chat window or plugin manager and typing in eq chat box comes up with unknown command

You can try /mqconsole show
or /plugin chatwnd load - older version

etc. etc. This continues for every plugin. Am I alone or is this happening to everyone?
 
You never say that... You break it and tell the boss going to take a week to fix. Play games for 3 days and code the fix in a few hours and tell the boss you worked hard to fix the issue early.
 
Hello I am sorry to post this but I just can not get Macroquest to log my characters in at all. I follwed the video and some of the posts on here about downloading it because i thought maybe i didnt download it correctly, but that is not the case. I have included a couple screenshots of the errors i keep getting when i try to load Macroquest.
