If you are having crashing issues, there are two ways to fix it:

RGUpdate 1.1 users:

Open RGUpdate, click "settings" and uncheck:

"MQ2Autoskills"
"MQ2Otd"
"MQ2WinXP"
"MQ2Timestamp"
"MQ2BagWindow"

(while you're there, make sure overwrite macros is checked!)

Click save, and then click update.

Everyone else:

Go to your MQ2 Release folder. Edit MacroQuest.ini
Scroll down to [Plugins] and delete the following:

mq2autoskills=1
mq2bagwindow=1
mq2otd=1
mq2winxp=1
mq2timestamp=1

You should be good to go.

All of these plugins are now obsolete, having been replaced long ago, and their .dll files are safe to delete from your MQ2 folder.(make sure overwrite macros is checked!)

Follow these instructions if you are going to play on the test server or
you will overwrite your current EverQuest Directory

So you have 2 EQ folders regular and test server
Example:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Everquest\
C:\Program Files (x86)\Everquest Test\

CREATE A NEW MQ2 FOLDER FOR THE TEST SERVER COMPILE.
The test server compile does not work on live servers and vice versa.
Example:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Macroquest2
C:\Program Files (x86)\Macroquest2 Test Server\

The RGUpdater works with this compile BUT MAKE SURE you are pointing it at the correct folders.
Its saves the location so you need to switch between live and test servers when updating if you play on both.

There may a be better way but currently you need to log into the test server using the SOE EQ Launcher then start MacroQuest after you have logged in.
