going to be awhile the new expansion stuff just came through its a very big patch. I wouldn't expect it until tomorrow may even be Saturday. I will keep you updated as hear more.

Ya half the COTF features are in but its good because maybe it will mean less downtime on the official release.

I just want to make sure that I am not doing anything wrong before I say there might be an issue....

I download the zipfile, extract and run RGUpdate configuring my paths to the zipfile and MQ2 folder. I then hit copy. I then update the UI files. If this is all I do, KissAssist works on Test that I have seen (other than some stuff I still need to learn about since I have only used this for about 4 days now).

My questionable item now.... If I then re-run RGUpdate and select all of the macro's I want to use and then hit the update button I get the message like 81 macros have been updated. Now when I log back on into Test and play my character, KissAssist starts just fine, but when my character casts the first buff or spell I get the popup that EQ has crashed and the MQ2 has captured the message to keep it from sending the error to Sony.

So is it just me and I am not to hit update, or is there a macro that doesn't play nice on Test right now?

Was this ever pushed out? I don't see a new date, so I assume it has not happened yet. No big deal, but would be nice for when I forget to close MQ and launch my crew.

did downloading the new compile fix it? There were a LOT of updates in 13a.

Is it on every toon or only one? Sounds like an item is wrong in your kiss ini file. That is something that has been reported before. If you still crashing after updating.

I'm not crashing but I am having other issues. When I issue the command for my SK (grouped with my bard. SK is set as leader, main tank, main assist and puller) /mac kissassist role pullertank 100 (and I have my SK highlighted as well) it launches the macro but then follows up PullerTank is a NULL NULL I am not detecting a main assist. Then my toon sits.

The only role I can get to work is Tank.

I'm about to just delete my MQ2 directory and start from scratch (sigh had some good ini built too).

Any assistance would be appreciated.

its /mac kissassist pullertank, no need to put role in it..

atleast ive never done it with role and never encountered your problem

All,

Just wanted to give an update - I deleted all of my MQ2 folders, redownloaded the zip file. Restarted my laptop and went with a fresh install. Everything appears to work now. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Well today when I launch the /macro kissassist pullertank 100 I get this error:

The current macro has ended.
Failed to parse /if condition '(Me!=0 && Me < 100)'. non-numeric encountered

I imagine this is something I have set wrong in my ini, I will look it over and see what I have placed recently.

NOTE!

Looks like it was something in my ini under the heals section. I fiddled around (not knowing the exact arguements you can pass to these spells.) and got kissassist to launch.

looks like you forgot a pipe | in |ME or forgot the health percentage to cast at. the order Spell|70|me

Sorry if this is the wrong thread to ask. I am running isboxer with 3 toons and MQ starts up after loggin in all toons but everything stutters terribly in all windows not the main one. I've set to run as administrator. In all non focused windows, they seem to "hang" completely and mobs/other textures dissapearing. What could be wrong here?

I've also tried to run MQ before ISboxer and after. Same thing. The MQ status windows come up though.

Maybe you have a huge log file?
Try typing "/log off" and restart eq.
I also noticed the voice thingy spams the dbg.txt
So open options and select the voice tab make sure the checkbox is NOT checked and the text should say "Enable voice chat"

As for stuttering in non focused windows go to options and the display tab and click the advanced button and set your background frames per second to unlimited and see if that helps, of course this will use a lot more CPU, but I noticed I can drive my toons in the background without them running into walls and stuff if I have more FPS in the background windows...

The stuttering is mq2fps and its normal since its only drawing like 10 frames per second on default. Besides what eqmule suggested if you are still hanging then

Thanks for the suggestions. I will try this first.

Stuttering is sort of the wrong word here really. It's more like a complete hangup. If I have my main window active and with my toons on follow, they appear to be standing still in the non focused windows while also textures dissapears and reappears. Like a good old fashion hang.

This is on the test server btw.
