Moved the charinfo pIllusionsArray cause it was in the wrong place.
This prevented FindItem from finding items in the illusion keyring.



The zip file below is for advanced users. If you're new, please use the installer and run update.exe after each patch to get the newest version.

Oddest thing,

I ran update program like I normally do, program updates. However I still get the incorrect client version error when I start everquest (I noticed my EQ autologin plugin not working). When I hover my cursor over the MQ2 icon in task bar, it shows the compile being March 18th.

So like most software issues, I try a fresh install to see if that fixes it. Alas, it does not. I install fresh, run the updater, which downloads the 03/22 update, then when I try to start the EQ client, I get the incorrect version number error / Failed to Initialize MQ2, will free lib and exit.


Any idea's what could be going on?

Tried that as well to no avail, then before giving up and going back to bed (have work in a bit).

I noticed that the game was launching slower than normal. Last week I installed a 256GB Msata SSD (while retaining my HDD as well for storage). Somehow the launchpad reverted to updating the original everquest install on drive letter G. My Patchme launch link was still correctly aimed at the everquest install on the D: drive.

Adjust the shortcuts a bit didn't work, but manually launching the launcher from the D: drive EQ folder seems to have updated my normal version of EQ. So everything working normal again, apologies for the noob post. >_<

Can you log into Everquest without mq2?

One of the recent updates seems to have impacted a macro I've been using for months. Seems that MQ2Nav / waypoints are wonky now. I don't know, I haven't really investigated much, but my guys don't reset properly (following the waypoint path back to beginning they get stuck). This is a macro I had running for ....months at this point. Anyone know why this might be?

I'll investigate further at some point, I've been too busy to even keep my guys running but I tried to fire them up today and the results were sadface.

MQ2Navigation or mq2nav? They are 2 completely different plugins and uses different folders.

MQ2AdvPath is separate from MQ2Nav or MQ2Navigation. Does the macro not follow the path assigned to it?

MQ2Nav and MQ2Navigation create map meshes so the character moves about and avoids terrain objects and the like, it doesn't use the paths it avoids stuff.

Not a huge deal, but hovering over my MacroQuest2 icon on the taskbar still shows as March 18th 2016. I have been running the 20160329 compile today with no problems.

I do have one issue that I am not sure of what is going on, if someone could kindly assist me. I get this every time I start any instance of EQ with MQ2 running: Screenshot_033116_124444_PM.jpg

That refers to the modified date of eqgame.exe. The 3/23 patch brought us the 3/18 eqgame.exe. Until there's another eqgame patch, that's what it will read.

I'm fairly certain this means you have an out-of-date plugin in your MQ2 folder.

That looks like a error with a brute force aa maybe a aa name that was changed

Brute purchasing i mean look in your mq2aaspend ini and make sure all brute purchase aa's are correctly named
