MQ2AASpend by Sym for NotAddicted.com

MQ2AASpend has been completely rewritten from the ground up to be a NON-ACTIVE HACK and OMG it has an INI file too.

Commands:
/aaspend - Lists command syntax
/aaspend status - Shows current status
/aaspend add "AA Name" level - Adds AA Name to ini file, will not purchase past level. Use M to max out available levels.
/aaspend del "AA Name" - Deletes AA Name from ini file
/aaspend buy "AA Name" - Buys a particular AA. Ignores bank setting.
/aaspend brute on|off|now - Buys first available ability on ding, or now if specified. Default
/aaspend auto on|off|now - Autospends AA's based on ini on ding, or now if specified. Default
/aaspend bank # - Keeps this many AA points banked before auto/brute spending. Default
Sample mq2aaspend.ini file
[charname_Settings]
AutoSpend=1
BruteForce=0
BankPoints=5

[charname_AAList]
0=Mystical Attuning|8
1=Combat Agility|10
2=Combat Stability|10
3=Natural Durability|M
4=Physical Enhancement|M

MQ2Log by Sym for NotAddicted.com
Plugin writes all mq2 output to logs/servername_charname.log. It will create the logs folder if you not have one. Command toggle is
Rich (BB code):
/mlog on|off
Saves setting in ini under MQ2Log in servername_charname.ini

Not entirely sure where else to ask this, but this doesn't work on the test server does it?
Never realized how awesome seeing mobs on your map is until its gone haha :(

No MQ2 compiles works on the test server. They update it to often and randomly to keep any compile current.

No it most likely won't. Second the test is crawling with gms and developers. Lastly if you learn offsets you can make your own compiles for test I believe. I wouldn't quote me on the offset thing tho

I dunno if its just me, but I cannot get AAspend to work, and it has even crashed me a few times today, when trying to add stuff to it, or when it goes to purchase

TAKE OUT THE TOON NAME and PM me your aaspend ini file

sent it to ya the other day, atleast what i had, along with what ive tried, to see if i could make it work before posting on here

MY pms are messed up trying to fix it now.

You need to create an ini file.
/aaspend auto on
Then edit the file in your macroquest folder.

MQ2AASpend has been completely rewritten from the ground up to be a NON-ACTIVE HACK and OMG it has an INI file too.

Default

thats the thing, the ini file i get, isnt a MQ2aaspend.ini or anything of that nature, it goes Servername_charactername, and then it looks like this

[MQ2AASpend_Settings]
AutoSpend=1
BruteForce=0
BankPoints=0
[MQ2AASpend_AAList]
0=Fear|Resistance

thats how it looks with a fresh install of MQ2 with /plugin mq2aaspend then /aaspend auto on..

or is that how its supposed to look and im just fucking up somewhere?

edit

I edited my server_charname config file to make it look similar to yours, even though what i put in the quote is a direct copy of what it is, dunno why its doing it like that.. will let you know if this works, i hope it does, either way thank you

the AA gets the pipe | after AA name and the the level you want to buy or M to max it out.

[MQ2AASpend_Settings]
AutoSpend=1
BruteForce=0
BankPoints=0
[MQ2AASpend_AAList]
0=Fear Resistance|M

why do u have it as "0=Fear|Resistance" wtf is | doing in there?

thats what im trying to figure out, i put that as */aaspend add Fear Resistance 1* and thats what i get, thats why im confused

edit

thats with no modifications to the ini file, thats straight copy, ive edited it to look like yours how you said it should look and i am testing it now, Im hoping that was the issue with the way the ini file created itself.

it would look some thing like this

"0=Fear Resistance|m"

the m tells it to buy ALL AA that it can.

you are putting | in the wrong spot! u dont put it in a space u put it after the name of the aa and then after | you put m or the lvl of the aa u want it to buy.

you are forgetting " " you are forgetting the quotes around the aa name...so it thinks that fear is the name of the aa and Resistance is the level of the AA you want

so i have to put the quotation marks for the name? I just thought that was there to say specifically to name it, if so my apologies

edit

ahh understood now
