Problem - Version Mismatch Detected

After the latest Test Server Compile when I try to load up kissassist for my team I get a Version Mismatch Detected, Writing Aliases every time I start up the macro. This resets my INI's for my characters to the stock default INI's. When I go in and edit them and save them and restart the macro the same thing happens again. Resets to default. Im still new here so it might be something obvious. I have completely deleted my MQ2 folder and started from scratch and the same thing happens.

Any help would be great.

Having same problem here also on Test Server Compile however I never got a version mismatch. MQ2 loaded just fine no error but when /kissassist it wipes that character's ini only leaving the commented out lines. Thankfully I backed them up but as it stands right now, 8.1.1 is unusable for me. I know someone else who uses kiss on test too and they just updated their mq2 due to patch and had the exact same issue as me when they just tried turning on kiss. Unfortunately, they didn't backup their ini first. OUCH!

Fixing the INI's for me wont be a huge issue. Just good to know im not the only one having the problem. So its not a problem on my end. Everything worked fine before the patch.

This is something happening with ini files in the New Compile uploading a new compile

New Compile uploaded sorry for the pain in the arse overwritten ini files. Was a glitch in the compile.

Well I had downloaded the earlier compile, but I didn't end up launching KA so I didn't catch this. Thanks Maskoi for the quick resolution.

Did it fix the problem? Your ini files were not overwritten with default values.

Well, I just launched it, and it overwrote with default values..... glad I saved my original toon.ini file! :)

Need me to capture any /mlog stuff and debug?

Ahhh, wait!!!!! I didn't apply the latest compile. I'll reply shortly.

Okay, yep, your update to the compile worked. Not writing a default ini file now!
