Leveling - Using Fellowships to PL

Since it's a bonus exp weekend, I wanted to share Dretski's strat for PL'n multiple toons via fellowship "vitality" bonuses.

If you're running more than one group of MaxLvl/MaxAA/"Capped" toons, you can put a PL toon in each group and cross-feed vitality to the PL toons. Vitality bonus will just about triple your exp gain for the same farming rate.

Example Fellowship:

• Group I = Gandalf (Capped) - Legolas (Capped) - Aragorn (Capped) - Gimli (Capped) - Boromir (Capped) - Frodo (lvl 80 - Sharing)
• Group II = Sauron (Capped) - Saruman (Capped) - Shelob (Capped) - Witchking (Capped) - Wormtongue (Capped) - Gollum (lvl 80 - Sharing)

With both groups exp'ing, Group I's Capped toons are all feeding vitality to Gollum and Group II all to Frodo.

Goes even faster if you put 2 groups into one fellowship (take 1 toon out obviously) now add the 1 toon you want to PL and go xp on the 3rd group with him while group 1 and 2 are also xping.

This works wonders when using EOK heroic macro. Even without xp bonus i get 110-140 AAs an hr on the PL toon. Its also a great way to get to 105 or 110 very fast.

Little known fact: If the PL toon reached max regular XP they will no longer gain vitality.

So if they're 105 and 100% or 110 and 100% they will not gain vitality for AAXP, keep em under 99%!

So if they're 105 and 100% or 110 and 100% they will not gain vitality for AAXP, keep em under 99%!

They will gain vitality, but only enough to max out your levels. If you're at 110.90 for instance, you'll get a bar that fills up and drains very quickly although you can still use this. Try to keep your toons at the magic 20% above the level or so if you're grinding AA:s. Unless they changed it of course.

I wanted to try this, but could never be bothered - 11 capped toons feeding a 12th, who was being PL'd by a skilled SK swarmer would probably be the fastest possible way to level in EQ.

This may be pretty easy to set up now that they are un-nerfing SK swarms.

lol patch notes dont do anything to un nerf sk swarms. You can only leech off primary target so swarming is still useless.
