(Updated) Forgotten Halls Bard Macro (1 Viewer)

I'm 62 and I have been running this for 2 days straight now, 24 hours a day, and it's working flawlessly. So far I have gotten 14 AA's (aa's at 100%) and 6k pp. One thing I did was remove the destroycopper, and turn on docrack's noemcumber. Also, I don't twist in selo's, I just use mq2superduperreallyghettospeed from codecaster's compile and set the speed at 5 (set it to 3 after I purchased innate run speed 1). I am getting about 3.5% AA XP per kill, and the mobs range from lvl 57-61). Great work on this macro!

Thanks very much. Aye, you can remove Selo's if you turn on MQ2Speed (MQ2SuperDuperReallyGhettoSpeed). I'm glad that it works for you. On the succor problem, make sure that you have the most up to date version, since I have changed a couple things since I posted it on the first post.

found a bug in it. when you warp out to heal you never get warped back to the kite spot when your health reaches 90 percent. You will just stay there twist heal song forever. I did noctice that when my health reached 40% it started searching for a target well I tried deleteing the potion belt lines since this was the only line that contained anything about 40% and I don't have any potions. it wouldn't warp out to heal at all then.

Okay, I looked into the code and changed one thing that I saw was wrong, a /return was in the wrong spot, causing it to just stand there and search for the target. Use the code in the first post and let me know if you have any problems with it. Thanks :)

Still not working almost there tho. it's looking for a new target when Ihit 45% health and not warping out when I reach 90%.

I faced the same problem.
I'm at work atm so I cannot test it, but I think it doesn't warp you back (and me btw :D ) just because of the /fade in the Sub succor section.
/fade make you trigger the dzquit event, so that you never enter the regen sub.

edit : mmm I think it's not that, /fade should not trigger dzquit, I misread the You entered ****
By the way, what's the point in having /call succor again in the regen loop ?

Rich (BB code):
/if (${Me.PctHPs}<=20) {
/call succor
/goto :regenloop
}

I was wondering that too seems to me there's no need to loop the call to succor once you have faded.

I replaced the Sub regen and Sub succor by this sub succor and it works, hope it helps

Rich (BB code):
Sub succor
/warp loc 245 -33 0
/circle off
/twist 1 7 8
/delay 1s
/fade
/delay 120s
:regenloop
/if (${Me.PctHPs}<90) {
/goto :regenloop
}
/if (${Me.PctHPs}>=90) {
/twist 1 2 3 4 5
/call indz
}
/return

Thanks for the fix Euri, I have been busy with the holidays and such atm. Im glad that you all like it :)

Just food for thought, I just got suspended while afk macroing in FH. To be fair GM Buglex triedd to contact me over the course of like 15 minutes, but since I was at work, I didn't respond. I HIGHLY reccomend NOT using this macro right now.

Quote from former GM Viianixis
But they go mainly on numbers now - so if you are an idiot and warp like 20,000 times in one day - they are gonna take a good look at you... (Yes, trust me - it happens. I have seen players out there with like over 100,000 entries in the logs for a week for warping and/or having their packets blocked from being sent to the server...).

But I'm not there anymore - but the logs I had created are and this GM Buglex - well - he's mainly interested in you Bards out there that AFK Macro in F Halls, Halls of Honor, and that other place... Vexed or whatever...

Guess I saw this a little too late :(

Oh well, keeping my fingers crossed that I won't be banned!

In an FH run last night (6 hours) I got about 24% of a level on 2 characters with 4 Chants and the TDoK (drums). That's about the same as 2 MMs on each (Level 55). I'm beginning to wonder if the risk is worth the reward.

I have never, and WILL never do a single warp on my main accounts, so I was just using the standard AFK Bard Macro and doing everything else (get the Expedition, zone-in...) manually.

I went from 30-something to mid-50's on this about two months ago, nary a GM in sight.

I just used this since the new patch. Crashes to desktop upon attempting to zone to forgotten halls.

probably something to do with that move pkt thing everyone has been talking about with the latest EQ patch.

Im not sure, but I will look into it, maybe they changed something.

Yes they did change the way we zone, a lot of crashing going on lately during zoning with /zone or the other problem it is causing is zone checking in some of the macros we have. So the macro cant tell you have zoned or thinks you zoned faster then you actually did and continues on its merry way before you are actually ready. :(

last time i remeber the rats in FH mission were super oooober now and once hiting about 50ish a bard could not solo kite with out a healer, does any one tried to see if a bard can still kite them?

yea, in an effort to keep afk'ers from doing this, they have changed the way that the rats hit, and their pathing. you WILL get hit, there is no way to avoid this. but the best bet is to get healing potions and whatnot to keep from dying. also make sure that you have the nostun, no melee pushback, and envirofall on, to minimize problems.

I can still kite them, but I need a 70 cleric there set to auto heal around 80% with holy elixir to stay alive. My bard is gimp though. Its easy to clear zones like pov or cod for faster exp.

this new update does a lot of warping and that is what catches the attention of the GM's (better chance of getting caught)

Also I just keep running and let the rats rot..
from guild hall you can just zone into nedarias run 3 sec to Eldros Danmor
and a 10 sec run to Nideno Eliagy turn around and click the rock
then start macro ... that is one warp... and alot less chances of getting caught warping and getting noticed in forgotten halls..
I feel this will keep the GM's from noticing the zone

Then again i am sitting at the desk watching the screen every minute or so
dont have to do anything just run circles and kill kill kill.... so I am not doing a true afk I can answer any tell I might get .. with in a minute ..

Just play it smart

its not a true update, if you look at the date of my first post it has been a few months, back before GMs were watching FH. I started this thread because the other was almost 20 pages long and had many different versions, most of which didnt work. So it hasnt been really updated since I first posted it. Still, use at you own risk.

for this mac whats the normal spell line up for you guys? also could you post me the link to the updated version of this? or is there one? :)

i just tested with this version i dont zone shrug why , old version rats dont hit me but with this they do guess different radius ;)

Im having a problem with my bard pathing into walls and getting stuck. It seems it only does it, when I minimize the window or have another window up, like a web browser.

Any ideas ??

very simple fix .. when your running a macro like this you can not .. or should not minimize EQ 8-)

ARmy

I'm surprised no one has posted yet. Probably very few folks using this now. Anyway, last week I decided to try this again now that my bard has a load of mitigation/aviodance AAs. He used to die in Forgotten Halls so often this was like banging my head against a wall and wasn't worth the trouble at all.

But last week I was able to tweak the macs and get through a whole 6 hours with no deaths, and using about 10 healing potions in that time. The exp was already nerfed, so exp was barely enough to bother with, but still something. Since the last patch I can't even get through the first mob without dying. I mean, the mac triggers a potion and I still die before I warp/fade. I suspect this is no longer doable at all.

Nerf time...

XP there does really suck. I botted a whole group there (4) and it took hours to get one AA on my level 70 character. However, a lower level character (64) levelled fairly quickly there. It's a convenient place to bot, since there are no adds.

I have found only targeting these MOBS helps.

/target ${Spawn[npc loc 153 -572 radius 3]}
/if (!${Target.ID}) /target ${Spawn[npc loc 157 -604 radius 3]}
/if (!${Target.ID}) /target ${Spawn[npc loc 153 -640 radius 3]}

These 3 rats have the 'best' pathing.

Slick idea. Don't know if I will try FH again, but I'll keep that in mind. Also, just for others to consider, I had it sit and kill nothing a couple of times because there's one rat that spawns behind a box. You never get aggro because you can't see it to cast on it.

My plan was to add a targeting check for if you could "see" the rat, and/or restrict the valid targeting radius.

Probally a good idea, to take out the warping part of the macro the loot sub esp --- Was running it on another computer a few days ago ( not my main one w/ my edited macros ) and a GM popped in and suspended me, because I forgot to take out the loot sub, and was warping to mobs after kill...

Just a thought =) Glad my bard was on an account I dont care about :-D :D
