Problem - unhandled exception has occurred in your application

I get this that error everytime I update MQ2.

the file MQ2Main.dll.tmp already exists.

Do I need to delete my MQ2 folder and then update? If so can I keep my INI files and put them back after update is done?

delete the existing .tmp file from the mq2 directory and try updating again.

the update process creates a .tmp file and sometimes it doesn't get deleted and the next upgrade can't overwrite the .tmp file and the error occurs.
