RGMercs Two mages that are nearly identical, but with a huge difference in DPS

I have two mages with nearly identical gear, but one has maxed out AA while the other is about 5,000 AA points short. The only thing I adjusted was the attack timing (originally set to 96% HP; I changed it to attack at 99% HP).

Strangely, though, the mage with maxed-out AA only deals half to a third of the DPS of the other mage? (I tested this on about 50 mobs, and the results were consistent.)

I’ve tried searching for an answer but haven’t found one. Thanks.

Not sure what you expect us to say.
Make sure you didn't let a sub lapse and suddenly lose your gear/augs?

Check your settings, config used.
Reset them to default if needed.

How are you determining what their DPS is?

If you were using something like a DPS ADV I would tell you that you should get something like EQ log parser instead.

GPS ATV is not really a good parsing tool especially for a comparing against other characters
