Everquest Transfer Reset

Here is the information in order to reset the "you can only transfer once every 6 months" feature as listed on the website. Please follow these instructions. If you try to transfer multiple times in less than 6 months without doing this, they can investigate your account and either suspend or ban it. This is how most bought accounts get terminated after raising attention to the account and customer service looks into the billing with multiple requests, it can cause great risk to your accounts.

I will now explain to you how to do this and also tell you about some great ways to make money doing this. For example below I'm going to tell you a way you can invest $100 or more into currency and turn it into 4-5x more than that in a matter of 3 days. I will also teach you tactics you can use to hide your currency you transfer over the servers so that when the transfer is being done, it won't raise suspicion. Now lets get to the basics.

Its a great idea if you get a program to "spoof" your IP address. Spoofing is a process that hides your computers IP address and relays another IP address to other computers. So, let say you are from France and your IP address is: 48.581.41.1 . With this information anyone can target where you are located, who your Internet Service Provider or I.S.P is and eventually find out who you are with this information. Although all of this is Legal activity- it is still good to protect your IP address so that Everquest Customer service and GM's don't IP Ban you from joining the servers. The best program for this is: SocksCap v.2. You can download this program at the link below.

http://ftp.pconline.com.cn/pub/download/200508/sc32r238.exe

Download and install this program.

Here is what sockscap does and a brief tutorial about using it: http://www.jtpfxp.net/anonsocks.htm

Here is where you can get updated proxies: www.proxyblind.org

Scroll down to the hyper link near the bottom called "access".

Login: proxyblind

Password: letmein

Then type in password again : letmein

You will now have a list of proxies. You will see a group of numbers for example: 34.144.44.1:8080

The 34.144.44.1 is the IP Address

the 8080 is the port #.

You will follow the tutorial and enter these numbers into the program. This masks your IP. Now when you goto the website it will say you are from somewhere else. You can even look at what country is next to it and when you log onto websites and Everquest it will tell them you are from another Country! There are many tutorials online for this. But remember, you DON'T need this...its just added security. I have never had a problem using this method without masking my IP address. Ignore everything above if you aren't interested in added security.

Here is what you will need to do to reset the 6 month rule.

1. Log onto Everquest. For example: If your character you want to transfer is currently on Zek and you want to transfer it to The Rathe, simply log onto the rathe and create a character with the same name as the character on Zek. If the name is already taken, skip this step. So if your character name is "Killer" on Zek then make a character named "Killer on The Rathe. Forget this step if the name is already taken. This is not only part of the process but will grant your character a free name change by putting a "X" at the end of his name.

2. Log onto www.everquest.com

3. Click EQ Players

4. Now click, "click here to register"

5. Register the account login that you are planning on transfering. Fill in the same email and everything else can be whatever you make up. Hit sign up. It will now say this Login name is already registered. Don't close the webpage.

6. Next goto the sign in page and click the "forgot password link". Do a password retrieval to your email. It will email you a new password. Log back on and change your password to something different.

7. Don't close the page. Now copy and paste this into your browser and goto this address. https://store.station.sony.com/eq_char_moves/index.jsp This is the same link you will find online to transfer your characters.

8. Fill out your request just as you normally would. If the original billing and the credit card you are charging is different, make up an excuse like. The credit card billing is different because the old card has expired. Then say, please contact me if you require anything else.

9. The transfer will be put in. This works if you are transfering to another account or just server.

10. You will recieve a acknowledge email...3-5 days later your character will be transfered. You can do this every week if you wanted to, but I would reccomend once a month or more. This works even better if you transfer to a new account.

I reccomend that if you want to transfer a character to another account that it is best that you transfer it to a new account with no history. Later on if you really want it on a older account of yours it will be an easier process. Here is an example. Account (A) is an account with a 70 Wizard you purchased, when you bought the account the person gave you the original name that the account was registered to and the first 4/last 4 credit card numbers that the account was created with. You are worried that there is someone else out there that knows this info and that the account isn't 100% secure. Go out to the store and buy another copy of everquest, preferably Everquest Titanium because it comes with all but the latest expansion. You will need to have the same expansion on both accounts to transfer. You can pick up Titanium for about $15-$18 at Wal-Mart. Now with the new account (B) , register it with account (A) original information. So now account (A) and account (B) have the same identical registration but when you pay for the transfer its going to be on a new credit card. Customer service will understand that it has been many years since the first account was created. In the character transfer form in the additional information section state that the name on the credit cards is different because your old card expired or you had to use a family member's card. After about 3-4 days the account will be transfered and you will now have account (A) on a new account that is 100% secure. Later on if you wish to move this character to a older account of yours so that it can reside on the same account as the first one you created and gain additional AA's because it has more yearly history. This also opens the oportunity for you to transfer no drop items to twink characters with programs such as Macroquest II.

This is also great for transfering large amounts of platinum from one server to another. As you know platinum goes for different cash values on different servers. Here is a chart as of today from www.irnewb.com These are the differences of some plat values per 100k if you sell to them.

Antonious Bayle $17 Bertoxxulous $12 Bristlebane $9 Cazic $15 Drinal $4 Druzzil Ro $12 Erollisi Marr $14 Fennin Ro $15 Firiona Vie $9 Luclin $8 Maelin Starpyre $10 Povar $15 Prexus $10 Quellious $15 Saryrn $5 Stromm $12 The Nameless $15 The Rathe $17 The Seventh Hammer $10 The Tribunal $11 Tunare $17 Xegony $9 Zek $17

The same goes if you buy from them. The prices are higher on some servers and lower on others. If you buy platinum from a cheap server like Drinal and transfer 1 million to 10 million plat to a higher value server like Zek you can multiply your investment by more than 4x. So if you invest $500 into some plat, transfer to another server for 75$ thats 575$ investment. Now you resell at 4x that you can get 2000$ ...you have now made a 1400$ or more profit.

REMEMBER THIS. When transfering platinum. Make sure you transfer a character that is atleast level 50. Put 2000 platinum in his bank...not shared bank..regular bank. Now put the amount you want to transfer on your character. When they do the transfer they only check your bank account and your shared bank because your shared bank wont transfer. If they see you have some plat in your bank, they wont bother looking at your character in game. They will do the transfer and your currency will now be on a different server for higher value. 80% of the time they don't even access your character for the transfer.

i did not go through any of this process

I just did character transfer request .. and all of mine were approved..

the key was that the new account was mine .. and the billing info matched on both accounts.

4 sets of toons later... I had my PLed toons with their 800AA's and all gear and such on accounts that can never be stolen from me

ARMY

Yes having same registration and billing information the same on both accounts is what allows the automated system work. if anything is different on the billing and registration a service rep has to look at it. I have had both scenarios so I know thats how it works.

I just want to be able to rest my Info to currnet CC#'s and such so the accounts look like mine and I can get the Secret question changed, I ahve one account I can't change my password on... GRRRR

What if you purchased an account and the person did not have the original cc# or original registration information. Can you still get the account transfered and make it secure?

Would this strategy result in the loss of all accumulated Vet AA's because the AA's are linked to an account and not a toon?

Anytime a Character is moved the server WILL associate Veteran abilities with the current account the character resides on reguardless of HOW you got it there.

That still doesnt answer my question about if you dont get original name/cc# if you can transfer it. Does anyone know?

Does anyone have any ideas on how to "guide a conversation" w/ Sony to get the any or all of the AA's back? I split one of my toons from an account so my son could play, and now that toon has no AA's... :( Any advice would be helpful.

Thank you.

I've transferred 2 toons from accounts that I bought to accounts that I opened myself. I followed the advice of others, and let the billing on the ebayed account go thru one cycle charged to my credit card (same credit card used to open my own accounts) before I requested the transfer.

I'm not absolutely positive that waiting for the billing cycle was necessary, but I didn't want to risk it.

Does anyone know if i can traamsfer a character from FV to another server using this guide, and is it really necesary to transfer char to a different account, or cant i just change it to different server, and not a different account?

I tried to transfer a toon from an account I bought to an account I made myself. I played the bought account for 2 months (paid for and registered with my own CC) before I tried to move the toon. The sales reps' reply through station.sony.com insisted that I had to have the original CC number before they would transfer the toon...and they said the original name did not match the name to the account I was moving the character to. I'm not sure how anyone gets moving toons to your own account to work.

Did you let the account go inactive for a few months first, before putting in your cc details?

Hello all,
just bought an account from ebay, can somone show me a safe way to transferr the account to my billing, email, cc, etc. details to make it my own as the original holder.

When I tried to transfer from one server to another on the same account, they wanted the CC #'s but when I tranfered from a bought account to my account on the same server they didn't ask, but I did let it cycle for over a month:)

Just bought an account and immediately changed the account info erasing the original owners info (smacks forhead) i replaced with my info....i just submitted a transfer request to another server....used all my information. Anyone ever try anything like that, and if so what wwere the results.

I have an account that a friend game me a long time ago that I have been paying for, for a couple of years. I no longer want to have to pay for 2 accounts and would love to move the main toon off that account to my main account. Is this possible? The other account has his name on it but has been charged to my CC for quite a long time. I do not see an option to change the name under account info but I get the impression that that is what folks are suggesting here.
