gSe7eN submitted a new resource:

tranq_swim.mac - The best swimming macro you don't need.

This is a very simple swimming trainer. Begin it in Plane of Tranquility. This macro will swim you around in a square around the island. You do not need to debuff levitation or mounts, but it will NOT care about your oxygen level. Also, do not start this macro outside of the Plane of Tranquility.

Once you hit max swimming skill for your level, you will run to a nice spot on the beach and chill.

WARNING: IF YOU DO NOT HAVE SOME FORM OF EVERLASTING BREATH, THIS MACRO WILL KILL YOU AND LAUGH...

I've been running this on all my groups for a while. Works great, load it, walk away, come back gtg. So it was business as usual, came back to see my newest group bask in the glory of being able to swim but instead I see my own macro calling me a fucking muppet because I forgot the group wasn't old enough for a Faerune defiant head piece. #SelfPwn

Can you think of any reason why /mac tranq_swim would just return a "The current macro has ended"? I don't get any of the shouts and my characters just stand there. And yes I was standing in Tranquility when I started the macro.

I have no idea why that would happen. But I don't even know why I declared Variable1 and Variable2 without using them.

1) Live/test or Emu?
2) Your mesh is good?
3) No echo output? (e.g. your swimming is already at 400?

Unfortunately, I can not reproduce any issues.

2) Your mesh is good? Yep I am using the new ones from Kaen01 and it showed in the MQ2 Chat window that Nav had the PoT mesh loaded.
3) No echo output? (e.g. your swimming is already at 400? No shouts from the mac just said the macro had ended. Nope, swimming is at 104, that's why I was trying to use this macro.

I know, I tried to check everything I could think of. I even went into the water in Tranquility and started the mac. I even did an /endmac to be sure I wasn't trying to use 2 mac's at the same time.
Shrug, I was stumped.

Ok, I'll make a revised version of this that is much more verbose for you so we can debug this together. Won't be today as I'm working on a personal macro that's giving me quite a lot of challenge in figuring out the best way to approach a multitude of issues that are so niche for me, that I'm the only one who will ever use the macro.

To be honest I used to go to Akanon, start swimming in the water there, in a circle with movement keys, then hit the auto run key. That would make you "run" I.e swim in circles. Doesn't need mq2 but probably looks more bot like in hindsight!

No need for even that. In Plane if Knowledge, you can jump in one of the basins there and auto run tino the corner to max swimming.

I know it's old but did you ever find out what was causing it? I have the same issue. Just standing there and then, "The macro has ended"

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A MESH FOR TRANQ...…...…. I just had the same problem thinking that the nav meshes I downloaded had a good mesh WRONG!!!!! build your mesh and start the swim again

Just do The Darkened Sea progression past Caverns of Endless song, swimming will be maxed afterwards and as a side benefit you will not need to wash your hair anymore ... you will be bald.

/notes that I need to max swimming before I do that progression yet again.
