Release Tradeskill Construction Set NeXt 4.1991b

I just tried to use it, and I am making 3 Defender charms.

Ended up with 12 Unfired Defender charms before I caught it. Never moved on to make them.

My first thought is what is the ID of the unfired defender charm, everything looks solid unless they changed that item ID.

I checked the ID of the unfired and fired in sharecraft they seem legit. What is the ID you are getting for the unfired?

They aren't correct and I even shared with you the data. Did you even consider looking at what I shared with you or ignore it?

If you are unable to check in game, ask for some help jb. I offered you help.

The Unfired Duelist is 170337 (like the sql i shared with you)

You didn't bother looking at what I shared. The very first line relates:

This is not just a drop in cause if it were I would have done it:

UPDATE "main"."ItemLookupTable" SET "ItemID"=170339 WHERE "_rowid_"='119';
UPDATE "main"."ItemLookupTable" SET "ItemID"=170337 WHERE "_rowid_"='121';
UPDATE "main"."ItemLookupMaster" SET "ItemName"='Marquise Cut Voidstone Crystal', "ItemID"=170321 WHERE "_rowid_"='234';
UPDATE "main"."ItemLookupMaster" SET "ItemID"=170339 WHERE "_rowid_"='236';
UPDATE "main"."ItemLookupMaster" SET "ItemName"='Pear Cut Voidstone Crystal', "ItemID"=170323 WHERE "_rowid_"='240';
UPDATE "main"."ItemLookupMaster" SET "ItemID"=170337 WHERE "_rowid_"='242';
UPDATE "main"."MasterCompTable" SET "ItemName"='Pear Cut Voidstone Crystal', "ItemID"=170323, "SubRecipeID"=41121 WHERE "_rowid_"='738';
UPDATE "main"."MasterCompTable" SET "ItemID"=170337 WHERE "_rowid_"='740';
UPDATE "main"."MasterCompTable" SET "ItemName"='Pear Clay Stamp', "ItemID"=152404 WHERE "_rowid_"='743';
UPDATE "main"."MasterCompTable" SET "ItemName"='Marquise Clay Stamp', "ItemID"=152402 WHERE "_rowid_"='753';
UPDATE "main"."MasterCompTable" SET "ItemName"='Marquise Cut Voidstone Crystal', "ItemID"=170321, "SubRecipeID"=41119 WHERE "_rowid_"='808';
UPDATE "main"."MasterCompTable" SET "ItemID"=170339 WHERE "_rowid_"='810';
UPDATE "main"."MasterRecipeTable" SET "ItemID"=170372 WHERE "_rowid_"='144';
UPDATE "main"."MasterRecipeTable" SET "ItemID"=170337 WHERE "_rowid_"='145';
UPDATE "main"."MasterRecipeTable" SET "ItemID"=170374 WHERE "_rowid_"='146';
UPDATE "main"."MasterRecipeTable" SET "ItemID"=170339 WHERE "_rowid_"='147';

This would trash the DB without knowing the sort criteria. I did "bother" looking but I can't correlate rows that don't match what is needed. So I used sharecraft as a source so I could match names to IDs

As far as I can tell I missed 2 ID's, but looking some more it looks like 2 ID's were not updated in sharecraft if we are swapping the item ID for the finished product of the 2 charms as well.

This is what I am rolling with:

Unfired Nascent Defender's Charm - 170339
Unfired Nascent Duelist's Charm - 170337
Nascent Duelist's Charm - 170372
Nascent Defender's Charm - 170374

Well a little spelunking confirmed my suspicions:

New highest depth found! Recipe ID: 89600 | Name: 2x Brewed 2x Stout Dwarven Ale | Max Depth: 1

New highest depth found! Recipe ID: 94998 | Name: Finished Naginata Blade | Max Depth: 14 - Winner!
New highest depth found! Recipe ID: 104688 | Name: Mystic Cloak | Max Depth: 65537

The old engine only went to depth 11 so we couldn't make 2 recipes., and honestly why would we make the mystic cloak, look at that depth..

Anyhow I am testing an engine that goes to 14 (fer now) and removes a lot of the old clunky code that made it functional but a stone wheel shaped like a square.

Early testing has the Ambleshift's Golden Auto Amalgamator come back in at 7 seconds instead of the old engine taking 13 seconds to interrogate.

Upcoming changes:

Recipe Engine Overhaul
Cultural Forge Movement Function Consolidation
Hitting Enter is a thing after typing
Modified Mystic Cloak recipe so it wouldn't recurse itself into oblivion.
Set forging hammer to 1 - so we won't need to buy eleventy billion hammers when the same hammer gets used throughout the recipe.
Dannet will now load if not loaded.
Select in standard recipe is now a checkmark - which interrogates the recipe.
a magnifying glass has been added in standard crafting to the columns so when you click it it gives you a recipe tree view.

So far..

Did You Know:

Checking the Trim box on the Standard tab tells the system to merge duplicate combines. For example, if a recipe needs 4 bricks and each brick is normally crafted in separate sub‑recipes, Trim will group them into a single batch — saving you time, and extra steps.

Working on a surprise but working on making the surprise less onerous

and let's find out what an item uses:

and if you double click on any it will display it in the tree on the other tab..

Ok so this should be one of those you need to install framework things and then just select wherever the artisan DB is once and it will remember where it is in a config.txt file dir

at least that is the hope, so now you can do some offline planning or just forget eqtc from time to time

not earth shattering to add this in, but when EQ Traders went down it was felt.

So the answer is depends, there is a modern day vendor table, a RoF vendor table primarily for PoK vendors near Dogle and a everything else before all that table. I am presuming you want the "in the past" table.
Yes, that sounds right to me. Would it be possible to make that configurable so you don't have to keep track of it for every new server?

My questions are how do we know when a server changes, I know there is something that can tell us what expansion we are on or have and wonder if that is the "same" thing. Otherwise how would we know when it goes from Prophecy of Ro to The Buried Sea. I could make an array that goes ahead and checks each server and says oh ya we are on RoF or whatever, if that is the case, I could do that, but the use case is very limited based on the subscribers here. Hard-wiring and changing every few months is not as hard as it seems.

My initial gathering is I would still have to manually update expansions per server (TLP assumed), but I will take a gander at the mq and see if I am wrong.

other than vendors what other issues does Oakwynd have with TCN?

So far I haven't seen any other issues on oakwynd.

I thought based on our conversation that you were going to make oakwynd use the "in the past" table, but according to your latest release notes it seems that you configured it to use "post RoF" vendors?

This is one of those double check things, where I swore I checked the site and it said it was past TBL but the reality is, it is barely on sod..

Maybe just put a 3-way radio button in crafting global settings, make the user select which 'era' of vendors to use?

Alternatively, but this is probably a huge change, if an expected vendor isn't found in the expected zone, fallback to the vendors of a previous 'era'? Or, I wonder if you could try to guess the 'era' by which vendors are up in pok (but this would only work if you happen to be in pok when you need to know that)?

I just look at the zam site and wherever it says it is I just put that logic in place. On my part I could do a check every now and then, RoF is 9 months away. I will think about vendor settings, I would want it saved like the rest of the settings, and changeable from there. Fallback is interesting but, we are dealing with a handful of servers and well they ain't that hard to deal with, the only hard part is paying attention to when they change.

Found an issue today with the Nascent Sages Necklace. It kept trying to make the neclace container, even when I had 2 in the inventory, so it may have the wrong ID now? Let me know if you need any more information to troubleshoot the issue.

yep, it is more of that flip flop stuff. Anything else hooey? I swapped the ID of the defender and the sage for the final product.

Issue with Missing items list "Essence of Darkness" says to go to Blightfire Moors and farm Accursed Lookouts (Essence of Shadow is what actually drops from them) - It does not drop there. Best spot for the Essence of Shadow appears to be Akheva Ruins.

Issue with Missing Items list "Grinning Goblin Brew" says Mines of Nurga- No longer drops in Nurga- Now drops only in Frontier Mountains according to Allakhazam.
Which means that the Mt. Death Mineral Salts could be changed to Frontier Mountains as well- more specifically the Soothsayer Dregzak's camp for both.
