Updated: tcgsetup to use x64 version of vc_redist
It cleans up, if you want it, you need to /outputfile recipes baking, you should be able to click on the link in the console output to open up the text file in notepad/notepad++, etc... It only uses the file to create the list of known and unknown recipes for the artisan prize and then it terminates it.Jb does the Char_server_tradeskill.txt ouput to a directory or does it get absorbed into the DB. I tried locating a baking output file, no dice. I bet someone else has asked this question, I just couldn't find it. Cheers!
and in oggok:
Without looking at anything, my first guess is the fairly recent TLP unlock is using the "other" banking methods.. not too hard to test.Finding two errors with the latest build (haven't used it for awhile, but did update this morning) when doing cultural combines on Riz:View attachment 41433 and in oggok: View attachment 41434 Seems to be related to button names only, and the second instance at least was after finishing combines and it was trying to store items back in the bank.

My first go around on my Ogre, only one that I have, or can remember, he botched 7 attempts. getting his BS skill up.Ok, another oddity. Suspect this is across the board, but no way to check. I don't know what's causing it, but here goes:
TTYL: If I have all the supplies and books scribed, I can only make one cultural item at a time and have to zone to be able to do another type. The craft button is yellow even though I have everything, and it's popping up the Shopping list until after I've zoned.

Longer explain: I'm making Ogre cultural armor right now. Using Tantalum Ore to make Elegant Warborn. I've bought all of the supplies for each armor piece, and I scribed all of the books, so I don't have to keep going back and forth between PoK and Oggok for each piece of armor. I start the task in PoK, it will run me to Oggok and do the first armor combine, and then try to bank my supplies (be nice if there was a check box to interrupt that, but whatever, I can abort and do next combine for now, so I don't crisscross the zone 7 times for a set of armor). I switch to the next armor piece and suddenly I can't do the combine, even though I have everything, and the recipe requirement window above shows up when I check to "Info". If I zone back to feerrott, then refresh the combine, that window goes away, and I can zone back into oggok to finish the next combine. Rinse-repeat for each of the other armor combines I need to make.
I am still testing, but you can also go to the utilities tab and click restart, that should eliminate the need to zone, you just have to pick the recipe again. To be clear, I'm not referencing skill up failures. I'm saying there's a gotcha in the code currently where it is forcing me to zone in order to change recipe's while doing cultural combines. I can make 1000 BP attempts if I want, but if I then switch to legs? Gotta zone first 1 time, then it will let me do the legs, otherwise it's telling me something is missing, even when it's not.
And thanks on the check box. didn't even think of looking at the global settings![]()
Did you click on a recipe and then click shop recipe, and then do it to a different one which is also cultural?I am still testing, but you can also go to the utilities tab and click restart, that should eliminate the need to zone, you just have to pick the recipe again.
It will abort, unless you increased the count of the next recipe, because it shares components. The way I would imagine is to use batch, which is what I will try next.Did you click on a recipe and then click shop recipe, and then do it to a different one which is also cultural?
I found them in the root of my EQ folder, thanks! It cleans up, if you want it, you need to /outputfile recipes baking, you should be able to click on the link in the console output to open up the text file in notepad/notepad++, etc... Using my napkin math method, I was able to make 2 different Warborns, no issues. Next up, batch.. and it blows up, heh..It will abort, unless you increased the count of the next recipe, because it shares components. The way I would imagine is to use batch, which is what I will try next.

I have been under the impression that once it is purchased it will show up under the Lua tab on the redguides launcher. Another thing I have done is watch the resource, the last option which is clunky is to DL it from the site and install.Hi jb321, I have a question on updates to the lua. In my redguides launcher, I only have 'Tradeskill Construction Set |Quests:GOD,TSS,POK,POR Freebie Assister', but not the paid lua version. Under Lua, there is also no entry. Do I need to do anything to be able to update the TCS via launcher?
In fact, is there anyone that has good code for the treehouses in GFAY or whatever FAY to use the lift and nav to the forge.. I suppose I can do it, but boy do I hate NAVing to tradeskill stuff in different zones, Abysmal and Crescent Reach were not terrible, but were involved.View attachment 41475
Just a reminder I still need to work on the pathing for a couple of races, most races are good. Wood Elves, Erudites, Drakkin, and Barbarians will currently have issue with Forges in other lands..
TBH I figured most people would stock up on the water with their toon or mule, and call it good. It is matter of flagging race, deity, NAV to zone, NAV to vendor, populating Cultural vendor table, ensuring there is not more than one vendor to buy the same thing from in a different zone based on race/deity, going to the zone last based on the assumption when you get there you will have everything else needed to craft the item, and more that I haven't thought of. At the very least it is 16 x 4 (variable based on zones that have that water) separate flows.RE: Tradeskill items for cultural emblems that are listed in the DB as a "missing recipe item" and have Unknown for the action column. With Ogre cultural specifically, there are a few of the "waters" for the emblems that aren't found in PoK, and the lua lists them as unknown. Specifically "Blessed Water of Rallos Zek" for Exalted items of the Warmonger are found on Sinsaal in Oggok. I presume that other races that follow Rallos likely have sellers in their home towns too, which makes it a bit more difficult for a coding viewpoint unless you tag race and diety together to determine merchant to buy from?
Standard, Batch, or Artisan, or all of em, recipe, UI? If you have screenshots of the flow that helps also.I don't recall it working this way before, but now if I want to do more than a single combine I have to check the "continue" option, and then it cycles through the combines in an annoying cadence of opening the container, making the combine, closing the container, checking the recipe again, in cycle. I don't recall, but don't think it was doing that before, seems to take a lot longer to do successive combines though.
If there are racial tradeskills as part of the road to 350, this can be set in the prize.db file using DBbrowser, to 1 or 0 , which will skip the recipe and never attempt it, it is global to that PC.Do you have any tips to skip racial tradeksills? I know that wood elves are SOL for now. Are you working on getting other races flagged like Barb, Erudite, Wood elf to skip racial balcksmithing that they can't do?
It will make 100 of every recipe for GOD, the amount of materials does not matter, this is what is required to unlock the GOD special recipes.I am having an issue where my crafter gets stuck making the same thing over and over again in the GOD beginner quests (e.g. simple socks, simple clasp). He'll make as much as possible, then go back to turn in and head back over with more of the ingredients and keep crafting away at the same stuff. His JC is 31 and he's been making simple clasps and handing them in for half an hour. Any idea what's going on? I followed the setup step then just went to the GOD TS tab and got to work. Baking & brewing worked fine. I noticed that he got hung up on BS, but it was on the last recipe, then with tailoring and JC, he's gotten hung up before getting to the end.
Thanks, sorry for missing itIt will make 100 of every recipe for GOD, the amount of materials does not matter, this is what is required to unlock the GOD special recipes.
When the NPC stops giving materials to the character, the character will ask for the recipes and move on.
For reference this is in the FAQ.

No worries....Thanks, sorry for missing it![]()
