Hi,

Does anyone have an easy way of identifying the real Narandi at the end of the EW TOV mission? When I'm tanking all 4 mobs at the same time its really difficult to see the decal to identify the correct mob to kill.

Thanks

Totally random, so what I do is I back everyone off and just use the tank to slowly beat them down.
In extended target I assign current mob to slot 13 then 12,11,10 as I see they are not the correct ones.
Need to pull him to a flat spot else this becomes difficult.

What's your strategy for determining which mob has the aura? Are all the mobs stacked on top of each other, or do you stand in the middle and give a couple of the mobs your back? Once the mobs stack up, it seems pretty difficult to determine if it has an aura or not. I guess you could punt one and see, but still.

I stand in the middle and just let them beat on me., the times they are all in from only 1 is getting sk dps so drops quicker and the aura shows. Them in front makes it a pita. and sometimes I use Unbridled strike to move the current target out a bit so I can see.

Any issues tanking all 4 with 2 beating on your back? I've been pulling and tanking 2-3 mobs in EW, GD, CC, etc without any issues. Hell, I tanked 6 the other day without mez, but I was also facing them all.

No problems at all but then 432k HP 8617 AC, while this is new I am using cleric/shaman duo

I have about the same amount of (buffed) AC, but am about 100k short on hps. My guy is mostly RoS raid geared with a few TBL group pieces.

I tank all 4 where they pop as well. No issues whatsoever with just a shaman healer and SK tank (~9300ac).

You wont have problem tanking them, they are wet noodles currently. Oh btw tanking them without any disc, if needed you can use some.

Nice... now I'm thinking I might just go do this later on for my box team. Other than the aura mechanic and some switching to crystals, the mechanics seem easy. Oh, and moving away from some stupid rhino.

TOV Misssion: Great Divide btw ....

All of them but the real one will emote at 75% somehing bout a Pool of water forms at their feet They also re-emote it again at 50% and 25% I believe.

Take your tank and your healer to the mob, leave the group oor enough they can not get aggro if you fail.

Key is to take one to 75% (Sword and Board ONLY, no Riposte), if it emotes switch off to the next one, if it emotes at 75%, switch again. Once you find the one that does not emote at 75%, kill it. I think you get the idea. Rinse Repeat

If you are an SK and guess wrong, You are dead (HT from Restless Spirit) I did use reavers bargain to survive it once. If you do fail, you can leave your crew far away and drag you dead away from fight and regroup. If you fail, blue crystals will spawn on the ground, you can pick these up and click on them while targeting clones to make them disappear.

Hrm, if it literally says “pool of water forms...” then you can make an mq2event or GINA trigger to identify the real one ... as long as you aren’t taking them all down.

Code:
Narandi the Restless melts, a pool of water appearing at its feet.
Now lets see we can have mq2events fire on that take current target add it to end of extended target then target xtar1 again ..../ muahahaha the poooweeeeer /bonk ... ah yes, very possible

Let me know when it is working!

Pick up the shard that falls to the ground and click it (the magic map identifies it as ‘The Tears of Alaris’). The fake Narendi will disappear. Rinse and repeat until you get the real one

We could never find the shard... we thought it was bugged and not dropping. I wasn't paying attention to the map, though.

Same hotkey as for velks :D

Intentionally died to this, picked it up and click doesn't work ?

I just battle razzed about ten times. Mission sucked and I was happy to get it done on the first try. I don't want to do it ever again.
