Question - Toons that really play if not for MQ2?

Hello,

I have been using MQ2 now for almost a month and I still have so much to learn its been fun. One thing I like is I can play some roles that I really have no interest in doing before with ease thanks to kissassist. One for sure is the bard I always hated boxing with bard before. I was never really into bard so wasn't as much fun. Is there roles where you would of shyed away from in your box team if didn't use MQ2?

Paladin, still haven't played one in 20+ years...i think it's my inner war that prevents me from embracing it. Even with KA...meh...lol

I have never rolled up a paladin in this game as far as I can remember. I made my first Druid ever today but that was just so I could hand a krono from one account to another. I’ll never play it.

druids are great foragers and porters.. so at least they have that side (non GROUP) utility.. park em in a spot you need to forage up some stuff, and run that forage mac, and "FOGGEDABOUDEM" .. i dont really use my drood all that much otherwise though
 
Bah, you guys need to roll up a paly, u would never touch that skanky SK again

Haha untill a week ago i ran paly cleric bard bst mage zerk. And paly cleric bard bst zerk zerk.

Now im changing cleric over to Shm
 
You paladins and sks should pick up a real tank, a warrior of course.

the class I use frequently but know little about would be BER. When I first started boxing I would try to get to know every class as well as my main. Or close enough to it. So, I know the second most about shaman because he was my second character and then on it goes down the line.

By the time I got to BER I just used chats plug-in and said fuck it. I can now save some brain space
 
Exactly how I am with rogues, though I have other rogues it was just for so, poison, and tinkering lol. Like the rest of you, I have never rolled a pally even as a bazbot.
 
Pallys take skill to master. Warriors have two brain cells, both fighting over which gets to click the kick button.

Toon I would never of started without MQ2 is a cleric. Merc/Shammy combo worked fine for so long.

I still have no clue how to play a Zerker, luckily for 20 bucks CWTN does. :)

Oh I would definitely roll a pally before I'd actually play a warrior, but I do have some lowbies warriors that were my kid's and my ex's, paladin however doesn't exist on any account, mostly because I've been a shadow knight since birth lol.
 
I'm honestly not a tank player until MQ2. I was trying to tank with sk prior and I was bad. Watching how the plugins/macros work from others I've gained an appreciation of the class and I can tank better than before without mq2.
 
Bard.
I have no idea how to play a bard other than using melody. One day maybe I'll figure out how to play that class.
 
cleric. i hate sitting around to click a freaking button after mentally counting 123 etc. i play all my classes well enough without ka and did so before ka through isboxer, a keyboard with macros, and a game mouse with macros. i started off with war and shm then added a bard and 3 rogue mercs. afterward i dropped bard and shm added cleric and 3 zerks, very simple through isboxer and autofollow. my next class ill never play is a chanter.

Just following up. I was so anti Druid that it wasn’t even a Druid throwaway, it was a rogue.

Thats a dead shoe-in for an automated toon if you feel like its tedious playing it manually... Hey might be fun for some people, but for others, get me OUTTA HERE!

I used to play bard manually alot and it was hella fun, I could pull anything out of a pack... but standing around healing.. uhh nah i'm good..

Atm, wouldnt play anything without mq2.

Yea I hate playing cleric in every mmo too boring but can get into any group at least.
