Is there a way to add timestamps to tells and other logs?

Sometimes I get a tell/ooc/guild chat and don't notice it for a while, or I notice something else in the logs, and I am not sure how long ago that happened, or if it is likely irrelevant

Right click on the tab, and at the bottom you should see timestamps. It will only add timestamps to the tab/window you add to it.

Ahh thanks, is there a way to do that on the command line, for all guys? What about the Mq2 window?
Can you add it by default for all tabs?

Once you set it then it stays. So yes you might have to go thru them one at a time but they stay and yes it is cumbersome to have to do it with all your chat windows but its well worth it.

Come to think about it, I have never tested this with the pop up tell windows. I have always had tells going to its own window or tab.

As far as any macro or ini file logging something to your toon's MQ2chat window an echo command:
/echo [${Time}] Stopped fishing, no bait.
