Now for the fun. This zone is arguably the best xp in game right now if your team can handle it. Nice thing though is in this mission the mobs respawn unless they ninja nerfed it.

I prefer camping at the purple dot area but there may be better places. Drawback being no namers in here. But as I said unlike the HA the mobs repop in the group mission and some of those damn guards give nearly an aa a kill without lessons ect. I have tried both the first camp and the purple camp. The first camp has some tougher pulls but they are definitely shorter. Just don't do the hails and the mobs should keep repopping. Enjoy folks figure out your afk team and sit in a t3 mission with no one to hassle you!!!! Also this is AWESOME for lesson burns and using xp potions now that HA xp from CoTF blows via mob kill xp and is final reward only. Here you can burn a lesson and actually see your aa go up with mob kills for a change =).

What are the TDS progression prerequisites for requesting this mission?

I am asking from the perspective of someone who has not played any TDS.

All progression up to Dino land plus the 2 tasks in that zone. This is the group mission.
 
It's not so much you have to do 15 other missions before you can request this one. You only actually have to have credit for 2, you need the other 13 before you can even zone into the static zone.
 
And to be honest getting flagged for it is not that hard at all. Well worth busting through the progression to gain task access to burn out aa fast.
 
Ahh then it is not very good for PLing alts, since you would have to flag the alts all the way to even zone into the static zone.

No easy way to backflag.

Then again, maybe it is not so bad. How long does it take to do all 15 missions up to this one?
 
I can knock them all out in a day np, but I run them a lot.

Either I suck or this was nerfed. Mobs are either not spawned or non attackable until hails are done, am I missing something? It is easy exp though, just have to move and drop/reget.
 
Just a little fyi .... if your alts are in your fellowship you can get them into the instances via campfire. You just taskadd them then click in. I have been doing this in Degmar for some time now. No backflag needed.
 
Sorry if I was unclear. You need to hail to the point where it is kill x/13. Then start killing the mobs. Killing the squad leader has a chance to instantly respawn the adds from that set.
 
I've done this mission a few times and i've never seen these mobs respawn. To be fair last time i did this mission was couple weeks ago.
 
I just redid it the last few days in an attempt to replicate the respawning, and have yet to see the mobs respawn.
 
Way easier to pick off one mob from the landing party of 13 and kill it, head back to the beach and there will be one spawn that pops at -563 +152

You can kill that one mob endlessly with insta pops.

If you request the mission and go to that spawn spot after the squad leader stops walking you have a 50/50 chance there are three mobs at that loc.
If there are drop the mission and go back in until there are no spawns at that loc, this is the one you want.

I was doing 100 aa's an hour on six chars
 
HOT TIP: if you have 3 people keyed for this you can start it up and campfire in 3 that are have not done the progression yet! I did this and then the original 3 left the instance and I brought 3 more in, so all 6 were not keyed. Then I did it a few more times to get 3 teams in with almost all not keyed! mwahahahaha
 
Hmm I tried to campfire in a non-keyed party member, and it say on his screen "You do not meet the requirements for entering" the island. He was task added and part of the group/fellowship.

Maybe it was because he was lvl 98? I do not know. Maybe it was stealth nerfed, you know anything that makes it easier to level is nerfed.

The campfire was inside the instance, not on the actual island.

campfire is inside instance, only! it will not work outside, you have to add them to the task, campfire in and go!
 
Yes the all of the accounts were TDS. The campfire was inside the instance.

I will try it again later.

If anyone has some time to try it with a non-flagged character, please do. Maybe I did something wrong.
 
I thought the campfires worked in the Thuli HA, didn't think it worked in the mission. I could be wrong though.
 
Well I tried it again, the lvl 98 was in POK. I grabbed the task, the 98 got the task. I zoned into the instance, ran a little bit and dropped a campfire. When I tried to campfire the 98 in, it said that he did not meet the requirements.

It has either been stealth nerfed or you have to be 100+ to go.

As an aside, the 98 has no flagging in TDS at all.

I do not know about still getting 100 AAs per hour, but it still works pretty well.

I used it to max out the AA of my crew. All I got to say is that dayum chanters got a ton of AAs. Only took a couple of days to max out the AAs.
 
If you get the right instance, a single mob will spawn continuously for the entire length of the mission. It all depends on your killing rate. When the 170% anniversary exp was going on, I was getting 1.35 AA per kill, so it will be slower now.

To know if you have the right instance, zone in, talk to the mechagnome 3x and watch the map. a ton of yellow mobs spawn and start moving north. Once that group of mobs move north, if there are NO mobs at their spawn point, you have the right instance.

After you get the right instance, get one of the group of mobs and kill a single mob. Once that is done, a single mob will spawn where the group spawned. Set up near that one mob and kill, another will pop in that place seconds after the death.

tl:dr

1) zone into fit for the new world instance
2) hail mechgnome 3x
3) look at map and see large group of mobs spawn in the south near the buildings.
4) the mobs will move north so move east to avoid getting run over.
5) if there are 3 mobs that stay at the spawn point you do not have the right instance. Drop the mission and try again. NOTE: There should be NO mobs left at the spawn point.
6) once the mobs are in their spot near the fork in the river, single out a mob and kill. NOTE that if you move the mobs they will stay where you leave them. i.e. not path back to where they came from.
7) after the single mob is dead, a single mob will spawn where the group originally spawn in the zone to the south.
8) set up near to pull mob off of it's spawn point so you do not get agro instantly from the next mob respawning.
9) pull and kill mob, a new mob will spawn in about 3-5 seconds after the last one dies. This will go until the end of the mission.
10) profit.

Just did this over the weekend. I flagged my youngins so dont know about campfire, but....I ran this afk, and had to come back roughly once an hour to spend aa's (I haven't used aa spend macro so don't know how to use it yet....and also I wanted to make sure there were no issues) Great, safe way to afk xp.....worst part is that you can only run it for 6 hours.....

I'm entirely planning on my girlfriend getting pissed off by me setting an alarm to to wake up and restart the mission when it ends at night and/or early in the morning.
 
Zone in and first combine group shown on the map. Split that group down to 1 mob. Kill mob and another will respawn in that location. Kill the new single mob and another mob will spawn in the same place. Continue to rinse and repeat until the task timer boots you.
 
Judd, just type /plugin mq2aaspend load

Then go into your toons ini file in the MQ root folder and turn "brute force= 1"

This will auto spend aas on the next available. It buys all class aas then archetype then basic. However, when you are close to max the plugin seems to struggle with the special aas and with the tradeskill aas in the basic section.
 
I got a little more than halfway through the solo/group progression missions this weekend on my way to flagging for this (and the rest of TDS). I have to say... fuck water zones. I hate, hate, hate, hate Kedge, and Combine just about made me want to hang myself. I actually wiped a few times when my SK (using one of Dev's macros) decided to run off targeting some other mob across a room full of other mobs. I got so frustrated I just camped everyone and went to sleep lol. Woke up today, though, and kicked ass.

Now, factioning just to be able to continue doing missions... good times. Hope this is worth it! lol :) (j/k, I know it is)
 
Could someone point me to the 15 tasks needed to gain access? I just came back in TBM and no one's really talking about/doing this stuff in my guild now.
