Guide - The Spirit Fades - NoS Mission - SicVid

Really hate the idea of 50 different guide posts for the missions this year, but I do mission vids every year and planned my week around doing so again this year.
1 of the missions has been missing.
So far they are all pretty easy and appear to be things that won't make too many challenges for folks.
It is possible that they get updated because of bugs - but looks like a lot of ez missions this year.

This is the order I did it - it appears to be the easiest order. You have to do it in different orders for achievements.
1. Heal Grakaw -> Kill Leech
2. Cure Curse on Grakaw -> Kill Gnawer
3. Stat Buff on Grakaw -> Kill Big Red Gumdrop -> Kill 2 Manifest Gumdrops

Great video Sic!

I got bored doing that order so I tried it reverse and there was electricity all over and orbs flying towards the other npcs, no idea what to do with the orbs. Killed it all but got some random you failed message. Went back to the normal order.

no idea what to do with the orbs.
In the raid, you have to out-range them. They travel a certain distance from where they spawn and then blow up. So instead of fighting in the center of the room, you fight against the wall to one side and then quickly move to the other side of the room when they go live.

I tried buff > heal > cure, but after cure phase done, it didn't complete and Grakaw restore then reset... am I doing anything wrong?

Mission is super buggy, you probably just got unlucky. Buff> heal > cure order is used for 2 achievements.

doing this the hard way. regardless of the owlbear buff order.

when the group zones in.. move back.. 10-15 paces. away from the mobs close to tunnel entrance.
have the trigger toon, go do the first trigger, doesnt matter what order.
triggerd mobs have a large agro range. so soon as it becomes active, the trigger toon pulls it to the group. you kill it there.
killing at the start of the tunnel entrance, or close to it and you are not impacted by any environment stuff from the event.

enjoy while you can, will prob get nerfed.

this mission can be flipped over and over and over w/o lock outs if its just chest loot your after. does not give u mission coin or mission completion but you can flip this if the chest loot is all you want

That sounds like the same exploit that got people slapped during RoS

I had this happen when we didn't kill all of the adds on the blob boss BEFORE finishing off the boss. So always clear all adds before boss if doing the achievement for the hard way

impossible

there is no exploit as u r just dropping everyone in your current task and then just doing a taskadd before the last name dies

Hi @Sic , in your video you said that it might be a good idea to remove Leech and Gnawer from burn list. How would I do that?

Also, in the vid you don't bother with the adds, but I tried this today and the bard could not mez some of them, and they killed my party. What is the consensus on them, should I kill the adds as they come or focus on the nameds?
(Have to say that I didn't use any glyphs, and burn started automatically on mob one, so it was not an optimal run. Also, I used the wrong buff first so the event resetted and then I started over, so probably all my cooldowns were used up.)

You will want to turn off "burnallnamed" and use "burnnow" for mobs you want to burn

as far as the event goes - i would drop the mission and re-get it if you fail

I always kill the adds as they come. Makes it a lot more calm, and my SK doesn't have the gear to tank them all.

Thought this might help those who are a bit under geared. I’m still using group crafted gear from previous expansion and my augs are a couple back.

I turn off burns for the first two spawns. On the third one I wait until the first add spawns then hit burns. Tank targets adds as they spawn pets stay on gumdrops. When all adds down switch to gumdrops.
