Getting the following error upon trying to start macroquest after the patch. Checked virus it is not a active, reinstalled MQ not change. Any thoughts?

Hey all, I returned from about a year break from the game. When I reloaded the launcher, I updated everything, and when I tried to launch the game through MQ2 I get this error. "The procedure entry point pTradeSkillDeptWnd could not be located in the dynamic link library". I have looked at...

Something similar for the MQ2 CWTN plugins I have -- Rogue in this case:

After that, the MQ2Rogue plugin will not load.

If you have already checked the RG Launcher Plugin Tab then read the following:
- The RG Launcher is unable to *delete* old files.
-- This means you will get an error box if you don't have a current plugin that matches the mq build
-- your options are:
--- a: purchase a license
--- b: delete the old .dll in your plugin folder, and/or
--- c: change your macroquest.ini to MQ2PluginName=0 under [Plugins]

This error doesn't appear to be a plugin.

Without you saying you checked AV, I would have guessed MQ didn't actually get updated here.

@brainiac would have a better answer than the rest of our guesses.

You DONT have any MQ files in your EQ directory do you?

no mq files in my eq directory.

I deleted MQ2 and the 04 exe and ran the updater and it cleared the issue.... odd
