• Hail, we're RedGuides. We want you to play six (yes, 6!) EverQuest characters at once. We have scripts and a friendly community to help, please join our playstyle and say hello! 👋
  • We've added LLM sections to our Terms & Rules and Resource Rules, for everyone's sanity & in-game safety.
    Read more
    a. Do not replace your voice with an LLM. This goes for your posts and your scripts. Drafting and editing with a tool is fine, but don't take you out of what you share.
    b. Do not replace your EQ character's voice with an LLM. We don't want scripts that speak over /ooc, /shout or other public channels. This has been an unwritten rule that's kept casino scripts off the site for decades, but we're now compelled to make it clear: keep automated communication private.

    Why Does RG Review Scripts?
    Nearly every LLM-written Lua script we see is making your character do impossible things, and rarely in a way that's beneficial to you. We've seen heavy server hammering, /target over impossible distances when /nav spawn would passively accomplish the same thing, a spawn search that fires 20+ times per second, and other pointless actions that are likely annoying GMs.

    You are welcome to use LLMs as a tool to structure, draft, and edit your work, but please read critically before hitting /lua run

Guide - The Call - CoV Mission Vid

Have they changed this mission lately? I used to steamroll it but lately my tank keeps dropping on the third dragon. Which ever is in the southeast corner.
From January update:
- The Call (Mission) - Fixed an issue that prevented all of the golems from spawning. This prevented successful accomplishment of the Let Them Go achievement.
- The Call (Mission) - The worried golem will now send PCs back up to access the rest of the tomb, if they wish.
Nothing that would make it harder to tank.

Gave a run through "The Call" this evening. went in blind, so wiped ones trying to actually do the mechanics instead of just killing the mob.
tl;dr - save burns till last dude and win.

CWTN Alias
You can make this alias to use eqbc to easily send your group to do the same command "/cwtn mode 0" would use eqbc to have everyone go mode 0, "/cwtna mode 0" would have everyone including yourself go mode 0 (CWTNA, A for all)

if you are creating it for the first time you will want to /bcaa it all so everyone creates it without restarting macroquest
Code:
/alias /cwtn /noparse /bcg //docommand /${Me.Class.ShortName}
Code:
/alias /cwtna /noparse /bcga //docommand /${Me.Class.ShortName}
first time:
Code:
/noparse /bcaa //alias /cwtn /noparse /bcg //docommand /${Me.Class.ShortName}
Code:
/noparse /bcaa //alias /cwtna /noparse /bcga //docommand /${Me.Class.ShortName}

For your kiassassist toons you would do something like:
/varset BurnAllNamed 0
this would only work for your burns inside your burn section
if you have burns in your dps section (like i do), you will want to change those conditions to include && ${BurnAllNamed}

Do you have a pet for every class? I can see like 8 characters that have WAR above them and they regular looking characters attacking the mob. In other words, I have no clue what I am looking at in regards to your group. I appears that my toons are better geared and they do not destroy Schtuff nearly as fast as you. Anything or info you might be able to offer. I am using MQ2"Toon" for all 6 of my toons. Svir destroyed my group. and you seemed to kill it in like less that a minute. Griklor you destroy in 20 seconds or less. My group is War, Rog, Rog, Zerk, Zerk, Clr and I also tried it by dropping one Rog and replacing him with MQ2Enchanter

no. like i responded to the literal same question already in the PM you sent - they are just swarm pets from the toons with swarm pets.

also no bard is killing your dps

So Ill say this I was always shocked by SICS dps as it seemed to exceed my 3zerk, brd, shaman/cleric, sk group. I’ve recently swapped in a Beast and he only has 10k aa on top of the auto but early indication is my dps is up with 1 less ber in a lot of scenarios. I think for the big burns aka Grik - the support dps with the 2 ber is Huge. I still need to play more but to Sics point no bad is hurting and it seems ot me same for no beast.

That's crazy. I wonder why. It's almost always the south east dragon. I'll try mixing up my dragon order and see if that helps.

SE is Sivar who is magic immune, so if you are used to the others being slowed that could make a difference.

I would recommend starting with Sivar and burning 10-12min CDs to get him down without adds and to not have to worry about tanking an unslowed or lower-effective slow dragon. I typically start Sivar and go counter-clockwise. The reason for this is that the 4th dragon will go inactive MUCH more often. During their inactive phases they still take dot damage. My route ends with Cargalia, who is cold-immune, and cold immunity blocks almost none of my damage, other than procs and Chant of Frost (which each dragon blocks 1 chant) I typically run with some combination of SK, Shm, Mag, Necro, and/or Bard. Depending on your comp, YMMV.

Conversely, if you're aiming for the "Defensive Measures" achievement, doing Sivar last helps (you'll need to tank her for a fair while to get the crystals etc, so having that one pause often then, is a good thing from a tanking perspective)

Sivar can still be slowed if you use a shaman, you just need to use a lower level slow (lvl 50ish) slow.. cant remember its name offhand though.
