The AFK Bard Macro (1 Viewer)

On a side note, my bard is going to buy the ornate greaves, is there a way in mq2twist to autoclick the greaves for selo's if out doors?

right click and hold till the pants pop up on cursor, put it in a hot key and add /keypress (hotkey number) in your mac. Piece of cake.
 
When clicking those links I get this message. "The topic or post you requested does not exist"
 
i finaly got the target.mac to work but now none of my docrack commands will work :(
 
Ok, i've read pages 20 - 25 in this thread, and i don't understand hardly any of the VXED kiteing trick and what nots. but i am stupid as hell when it comes to computer shit.

can i get the following in one nice esy to read post:

- the code for the .mac and what to name it

- i need a verson that will atlest work for a bard that doesn't have any of the cool aa's (shield of notes, cacoph, bellow)

- what hot keys to make, what to put in them, and what slot to put them in.

- what songs to put in what gems slot (ex: dot1, dot2, dot3, dot4, selo)

- what potions to put in what potion slot

- how to even get too VXED, i think it's in barindi or what ever, but i don't know where or how to start it.

i know this sounds like alot of simple explinations but i can hardly understand when you guys list 4-5 diffrent codes for the same thing... i just don't understand hehe.

First question = answered /mac target1.mac because well um the file is named target1.mac
2nd = answered its the baby version, the later post is for uber bards with massive AAs
3rd= 1 selos 2 dot 3 dot 4 dot 5 dot 6 heal
4th = hot in potion blet slot 3, insta heal potion in slot 1
Vxed is in Barhindu Hanging Gardens
/tar Apprentice /warp target /say vxed or just invis and run to the apprentice
then look on map and go to the dead end with the Stoneservant mob or what ever its named near it. zone it. Read the post use those hot keys.
Not sure what else you need all of that is answered in the link except the location which can be found with the tiniest bit of looking on alaka or whatever.
 
OK MY TARGET.MAC WONT WORK I DID EVERYTHING THE WAY ITS SUPPOSED TO BE DONE AND IT WONT WORK

heres what i did i copied the macro from page 1 and the pasted it in my word pad named it target.amc and put it in macro folder and it wont load when in EQ anyone know what im doin wrong?
 
do you have "Show file extentions" turned on?

And try /mac target.mac
 
My Computer -> Tools -> Folder Options -> Hide extentions for known file types

That needs to be unchecked. Ok maybe not need...but it's good to have that unchecked anway. And like I said, try /mac target.mac
 
As long as you have mq2 running, that's all you need.

Look at the macro file now, is it's name target.mac.txt?
 
It's saying Sub Main not found is it? You copied the code exactly as it is on the first post?
 
I give up then, re copy and paste the code on the first post in target.mac, if it doesn't work I dunno what to say.

any text editor will do. when you are done just click "save as" from the file menu then in the popup block type "yourfilename.mac" including the quotes but use your actual file name not yourfilename lol.

when you click file, then click save as a small window will pop up asking you where you want to save the file and what you want to name it, near the bottom it will say "file name" and have a dropdown box next to it, in that dropdown box is where you want to type your file name inside of quotation marks. should be "target.mac" then click the save button.
 
are you sure you are saving it as a .mac? I had that problem because I didnt change it to all files not just .txt's
 
Sometimes shit just doesnt work hehe, I tried to get a damn cleric mac to work forever, had a buddy send it to me from his comp, the entire mac folder with his files still didnt work got that sub main BS when I knew for a fact it was in there hehe. I jsut gave up.
