Problem - Tank not engaging multiple mobs

My SK for some reason is not attacking mobs correctly. He always casts his spells and performs his aggro routines but when i get more than 1 mob and when it engages the second mob he takes forever for melee to turn back on. Sometimes not until the mob is below 50% hp before he turns attack on again when he has the mob targeted. Again, its only his melee that doesn't turn on but everything else does. It seems to get even worse when his is in the hunter roll. Thanks for the help.

Under what conditions do you expect to switch targets? Is the delay related to detecting Adds in camp?
 
The melee simply just doesnt engage until well into the battle. Spells cast just fine. The SK will just stand there and do everything BUT turn on melee until mob is at like 60% or even worse.
 
I also wrestled with this and in my case it was the long cool down times of the SK lifetaps. Although after that I also have determined that on switching mobs it appears the SK seems to have to completely traverse the DPS section one time before it engages /attack on.

I tried reading through this post and removed my Taps from my heals section and also did what Redbot said and tried toggling my Healson to Healson=4 and im still having the same issues.

you should use dpson=2 for this btw, dpson=1 for how you have stuff setup is not going to work like you expect

what is your campsize?

Aslo this bring up another good question.

Is it better to have Taps in the heals section only or maybe just in the DPS section only with conditions?
 
If your sk is standing there casting, that sounds like its using assist rather than tank or offtank, or pullertank.
 
I have him in a "Tank" roll for everything so that isnt it either. Just for giggles i tried using the full KA INI from Deathlocks Post (I used his full ini) after reading his post saying that he hasnt encountered any of the delay issues and my SK is STILL holding a very long time before he starts his Melee attacks:

Can you provide me some more info on how to do it with out running MQ2MELEE? Like what would need to be added/removed from the ini for it work with out it yet still have my SK perform everything that MQ2melee does.

then you have to provide the whole ini for us to look at

Perfect is not when no more can be added but when no more can be taken away. DPS section looks like a dog’s breakfast.

conditions will not be considered when tags of Mash and Weave are used, and you have two pipes on DPS37

you’ll have seen half of your discs firing unexpectedly and be scratching your head wondering why your combat abilities are all on Cooldown when they shouldn’t be. Maybe MQ2Melee pressed them. Maybe not.

no dots. maybe there isn’t enough room.

changing DPSOn=2 will require a re-order of the DPS sequence. Coz thwart at 2 and rending blade at 38 doesn’t make sense. They should be together early and often.

your visages should be paired with a bunch of other stuff. Clicking either visage should trigger their associated burn sequences.

all the circles share the same timer. Rolfron is the only one worth using.

suggest not configuring something that is impossible to troubleshoot.

TL: DR spend $20 on MQ2Eskay, coz unscrambling this egg will take longer than 1 hour (based on the new minimum wage debate)
